  1. So, if I were to get that RWC kit that comes with the spacer, screw, and TM sector gear and install that, would it work fine? Or would I need to do more?
  2. That seems a bit unnecessary. The PGC gearbox is designed for and is excellent at long bursts, i.e. support gunning. The V2 has quite a few problems, especially when compared to the PGC. The V3 would have been okay, but PGC still is best. Did you seriously just suggest a TOP over this? Wow. I don't even need to comment on that.
  3. Judging by how the other 2 items he linked to are a barrel and hop bucking, I'm guessing that's a hopup chamber, stealth
  4. Hm, I may have to rethink "CA all the way" when it comes to buying a G36. Very good review.
  5. I prefer it the way it is. ASF is rather annoying to browse because there are a bajillion different forums to look through new posts in. Here, I have just a few that I check when I come on for new posts, which saves me a fair amount of time.
  6. Random was taken, otherwise I would have used that.
  7. Can mods also change names? I PM'ed Arnie a few months ago to get it changed to r4nd0m without response, and if a mod could do it it would make my life easier.
  8. Okay, since the last 20 pages of this thread dab in and out of the problems in this gun and it's hard and time consuming to go through all that and find what I'd need to do to make this workable, I could use a bit of help. So, can someone please (stealth, you seem to have a good handle on this) list all the problems this gun has had out of the box and solutions we KNOW will fix them? I'm really debating whether or not one of these is worth getting since they seem to have so many issues. Thanks y'all!
  9. Back this up or it's not true. How would JLS come into possession of a CA prototype to clone it? Anyways, good review, though I agree that it would be nice to have gone into detail about problems. Interesting note that it's a V6 gearbox. Maybe we'll see a JLS P90 soon.
  10. I'm definitely going to wait a few months before ordering mine to see if they get all the problems sorted out.
  11. Sweet, it does use a precompressed spring! No one directly answered this before. Yay for army!!
  12. Ooh, this pic I made makes me want an FS2000 and one of these sights. Yes, I know the sight is a little askew with the rail.
  13. Again, I very highly doubt there will be an LSW or AFV. I love them both, but what we're all forgetting is that this company cloned another, so their line is limited to what that company produced. JG went a bit outside this with a few of their new armalites, but an LSW/AFV from an L85A1 is a very drastic change, and since G+G never made either, Army won't make them.
  14. Wait, so popping mags in and out a lot helps? YES!! An excuse to do that! God only knows how much time I spend popping mags in and out of guns partially just for the fun of it, and also to get a good feel for it so I can change quickly in battle.
  15. I think I'll wait a bit before ordering mine to make sure they get everything worked out. I'm intrigued if it indeed does come with a mini battery now, which would mean they swapped out the connectors on the gun. All the better, though, since an IB 8.4v is only $20 compared to $45 for a custom one.
  16. Hopup has been fixed, as has the CA33's (the new version comes with the better, yellow hop). The hop in CA's new G3 series is absolutely brilliant.
  17. Mah new blade, got it in Spain last week. 5.5" blade. Awesome knife for 27 euros. Sorry about the bad picture, I had to put it in my scanner because I'm without a camera.
  18. DL, I'm waiting for your video review. I couldn't get past 2 minutes of that fat guy's voice, or that way he kinda twists his mouth when he pronounces vouls.
  19. Pointact does. I preordered mine when they were $118.
  20. Indeed. I ordered the old one, but was sent the new one on acident. I really don't know what happened, but I'm rather glad it did.
  21. Mine came from airsplat, actually. I ordered the original version but I was sent an R9. Oh well, I'm not complaining. I sent them an E-mail afterwards and they probably won't be making that same fortunate (for us) mistake anymore. I've had it for about 4 months now, and the most skirmishing it's seen is backyard battles (I lend it to my neighbors). Seems to hold up pretty well.
  22. Well, I've had it for a while and I figure I should get a review up here of the WELL P90. I was ordering a load of LPEGs for my travesty (yeag, vic, evilbob, you know what I mean) and a few P90s were in there. To my surprise they sent me the WELL R9s instead of the old, worse version of the P90. I was pleasantly surprised, since I had been itching to see how these were. The gun comes in a box with a picture of the P90 on it, plain and simple. Opening it up and lifting the gun out I realize that it is pretty much the same as the original. About 4 pounds, good quality plastic, a little nice
