  1. then it's not really H&K is it? That's like saying the MC51 is H&K
  2. nice to see someone using lowcaps! they are compulsory in our club soon... although i usually just take 6 on me. That is one nice looking K though! I agree with Roanix though... M4 stocks should be perminantly banned from all H&K products... shame on you people!
  3. booohoo these G36s hurt my eyes bwahahaha seriosuly it's interestign the way people customise their G36s like this. Althought i wouldn't be seen dead putting an M4 stock or M16 mags in to it (in fact i would hope the day i do that someone actually puts me down) but then that's just me As an adendum to my comparison of the star and CA G36s, I have decided the CA is of inferior quality. Firstly, it's really just a G36C with a longer barrel. It still has the C gas system in it, whereas the star one is a full length gas system. Secondly, i cocked the charging handle today (as you
  4. res.. haha nice so does the star on a 9.6v 1400mAh.. i think it was 25rounds per second at the least? Roanix.. performance wise.. not so hot. They suffer compression issues.. but then that never bothers me much as most of my guns do under the forum limit (even though in NZ we have no limit except what the club sets). I have read people complaining of motor problems (i've never had those issues) and some dude told me they were an un-skirmishable weapon (strange that i use mine every week without an issue). All i did to fix the issues.. and i'm not sure it's 100% fixed... but i chang
  5. haha sorry.. i meant here ya go to ollie I've seen some pics of people who have done that and can't say i like it myself.. getting a little too Colt-ish for me hehehe
  6. here ya go then The outer barrel on the Star G36K just seems to be a tad short. Could do with another 1cm to the length for a bit more realisim. The Star definitely has the better finish of all the G36's i have, and feels a lot sturdier in construction as well.
  7. yeah it's partially the way the flash hit it and well.. it's a marui i guess you can't expect that much
  8. mine are pretty much just bog standard as they came.. why do up something that's a work of art to begin with? We're talking G36s here after all.. i'm beginning to think some of you would rather have an M4 SOPMOD with the amount of accessories you're mounting! Star G36K with an AG36 The whole G36 collection
  9. with the pictures gone i can't point it out exactly.. but with the front end off, the one that holds the barrel to the upper receiver, and with it on.. the pin at the top of the handguard. These were both missing on mine, not sure if they were left out during manufacturing or what
  10. nice review dude.. been wondering about these.. they looked a little cheap and nasty.. but 280fps is bloody good. I might just get one
  11. nice review and REALLY nice pics. I find my one very problematic. It has variablt performance, sometimes it won't even fire at all on propane. The recoil spring is on the weak side, and the hammer spring could do with being a little stiffer. one of the MAJOR issues with this baby is the faulty blowback system. Apparently as the cylinder moves back over the piston, the V type oring thingie they have folds back on itself, resulting in the slide getting stuck on it's way back. This is a common fault and i fixed it by changing the oring with one from my hicappa (after i replaced the hica
  12. interesting review. Apparently the barrel wobble is caused by the fact that SRC seem to have left out 2 pins in the front.. once you actually put them in the front is rock solid. I also never got the circlip on my hop assemble so the whole hop unit fell apart in the gun... luckily i had a G36C one. Also the seam lines in the moulding appear to be far worse than the BE version (believe it or not) though the plastic is better. Would be nicer if they gave us a red dot (like the real steal) instead of the scope.. that way the sites would be of far more use. Another thing that annoys
