Martins range in price. My D28V was $2500. My friend picked up DXM for less than $500. Another bought a Koa for over $7500. Their fabulous guitars. Taylors are great too although you'll never get that warm, vintage sound which the Martins are so famous for. I highly recommend them.

Go for it, they make wonderful guitars.

SEND IT BACK. They sold you a new product, thats not new in any means. They should pay for shipping aswell.

Although it may look cool, they sold it as a new product which is unproffessional on their part - I would send it back. Although the scratching doesn't look horrible, if I pay the money to buy something new is should be.
