  1. Take that "made in Taiwan" sticker off!
  2. ^ As I said, TNT sucks. I have never had the horror stories (told above) happen to me. They are just slow. EMS/speedpost all the way. When my items ship EMS, they arrive on teh eastcoast through LaGuardia Airport. They are in and out of customs in >minutes< and I have the item in 3 days from Hong Kong - guaranteed.
  3. ^ TNT sucks but that is what they use. It will arrive through the west coast for sure. I am in Mass and it came through LAX. TNT hands the package over to UPS for the final delivery once it is released from customs. It >could< go through Portland or other major airports on the west, but it will still take longer than one week Im sure - no matter who handles customs.
  4. TMC does a great job. They tape the trades first, then they putty over that. When you peel the black putty off, NOTHING is stuck in the trademarks. Comes of clean, mint. Your customs will likely be LAX.......the worst and slowest customs. Dont panic if it is held for customs inspection for days (or weeks even). They suck but you will get it. You will also receive both length inner barrels from TMC.
  5. Already saw their demo video. They seem to be making "rocket science" out of nothing with all their "negative pressure technology principals".... Rather than adjust the space between the floating valve with a shim, you can simply thread (or unthread) the spacing with their new design. No big deal, something similar could be done on the WE as well. What I >would< like to see with this system is a lock-down for the adjustment wheel.
  6. +1,000,000 Commando length barrel for sure. As for the neg vs pos thing, G&P is pumping out great pos thread options for the WA/GP/WE - just ordered the VLTOR flash hider. Great replica.
  7. Hi Cephas I think you are the only person to ever report this. Twice even! So strange. Tbone- Looks great man. Chef- Its "airsoft pitch". LOL...seriously, its the same fine pitch as all airsoft flash hiders. Threads right on.
  8. Opinions vary. When the WE M4 was given to law enforcement as a trainer (for evaluation) one commented that the brass cylinder looked like bullets being loaded into the chamber, when the toy was being fired in full auto. And so it stayed (the brass cylinder showing through the ejection port). (And there is no way possible to make it black anyway - any "treatment" would be worn off in minutes of use.)
  9. I see absolutely no need for a steel feed nozzle. It was brass in my Escort guns and that was always good enough. Never had a single issue related to that. A new hop up design? Yes.
  10. The hop is the biggest problem by far. TOO much hop.
  11. ^ Hi Chris To answer your question about the small bb for the hop.... I always dreaded being in the shoes you are now - trying to come up with another bb that will work. First, if you indeed lost it,....William sells the replacement part on his AB site as MANY people have lost it swapping out their barrels. If I had to "make do" with something around the house? I would take apart the smallest sealed bearing I could find - rollerblade or smaller. Sealed or not. Just cannibalize the bb's inside. The inner ball bearings have to be ridiculously tiny. It will suck not
  12. Id let you know, except Im in the same boat as Hazmatt,.....Ive been waiting >forever< for this order from AB. William has emailed me back. And apoligized for the delay. But Im still waiting. Renegade, "Equipped with stronger internals"....ha! What a laugh. These retailers will say anything to get the sale. So many people are selling the WE now, very competitive. The only difference in all of these versions has been the "shell" the WE guts are inside of. The WE/modified Escort gas system is so simple and strong, there is nothing to strengthen. The charging
  13. Ha, yes you are! Take it apart again. The teeny tiny bb is right on top and is what presses the green silicone hop material. My guess is that it may have dropped out when you took things apart. it is SO easy to do. refer to the parts diagram to se e where it is and how it goes together. Cobbcore, "yes" on increased rate of fire - "no" on increased gas efficiency since the mag valve doesnt "know" how light or heavy the bolt is. Seperate system operating on its own. It will just bea easier pushing a lighter bolt when temps are cold - and the gas pressure is weak.
  14. Did you lose the tiny ball bearing? As good as we are we can still goof. Slu, Thanks for that post. Thats for front wobble and might help remove the last bit of play in the WE. Most of the wobble in AR's and the WE are from the rear. Google accuwedge.
  15. Sabre! Yes, I had receiver wobble. Its the nature of the beast - real or airsoft. Most real AR's, have this side to side play, or "wobble" between the upper and lower receiver. The thing is, it doesnt affect accuracy one bit in these guns. I have had real AR's that clatter like crazy but shoot tight groups. Some find it annoying. I do. There are two fixes in real steel world for this (more on the wiki post this week). Either an expanding rear takedown pin, or a little device called an Accuwedge. The expanding pin is a bummer since it requires an allen key each and ever
  16. I second that. I have one sitting on my desk here - it is useless, in reality. Remove it.
  17. Solid as a rock. Shimmed the receiver wobble out too. Feels like the real thing with this particular setup. Although Im sure Ill change it up again next week! Thanks Elpus
  18. Pollux, I PM'd you back. A few new pics. A new look for the WE M4. This is a real A.R.M.S. SIR system, #50sc bi-level. It bolts right on the WE with zero modifications. Front sight is the new folding Silhouette, also from A.R.M.S.
  19. Not true if its a standard AR15 charging handle. It sort of works. YES it will pull the bolt carrier back - but so will a piece of string hanging out the back of the upper receiver. When the RS charging handle is new, it has crisp edges and JUST catches the corner of where it is supposed to catch...once this rounds off from normal use (in my case, 1 day), the hooked end slips over the place it is supposed to "grab", then will hook the next thing in its path - the cast part that holds the upper roller. Its ruining the cast part in the process - and since it is over a half inch away
  20. And here is a Falcon Ergo grip for 17.00 shipped. Real Steel grip for 17.00 shipped - Falcon Ergo Grip.
  21. Not to start any trouble here guys, but 'gnilrad, you can buy Real Steel grips for dirt cheap everywhere. Here is a guy on my real steel AR15 forum toight. TANGO DOWN BATTLE GRIP IN PACKAGE - 25.00 SHIPPED.
  22. Nice to have, but no, not needed to take it off. It is put on rather loosely at the factory. You will be able to unthread it with your fingers. Especially after a few days in full auto! Everything loosens on the gun with the recoil so stay on top of all your nuts, bolts, tension pins, & grub screws.
  23. Hi Chris I have both on order. Im getting the aluminum bolt carrier to try. And I bought a Bushmaster full stock that is being shipped from AZ, so Im still waiting. It is a shorty, full stock. Trying another new look. As for the stock being milspec, it isnt quite milspec (at least mine isnt). It is actually thinner according to the calipers. In case anybody wasnt sure, milspec buffer tubes are thinner not fatter than commercial buffer (or stock) tubes. If you go with an aftermarket stock, be sure to order only a milspec stock - otherwise it will wobble nearly as bad as th
  24. Let the Locktite set overnight if you can. Thats all you need. The mag leaking issue was mainly an issue with the first batch. WE acknowledged defective/sub-par o-rings. All the new mags that William (airsoft buddy) has work fine on their first fill - no leaks at all. And don't develop leaks after hundreds of refills.
