I guess so...for now. I will try the hop up mod if I need it. Honestly though I haven't even had a chance to fire bb's through it! Damn city living, I miss the country. Very pleased with it so far though and I scored an absolute steal of a deal! Just must resist dry firing it too much!

As a person who has recently aquired a KJW M4, I would also like to know what the charge for a TDC would be Weekenny.

Haha, I hadn't seen the dolphin until you posted that. Still, I like it, its another way to make your scar unique-ish, plus I have a new way to appreciate dolphins! It is all about personal choose though in the end as with everything airsoft! I think a big draw back with the scar L is the weird pistol pistol grip design, TM, for what ever reason they did it that way, have just made things difficult. I'm sure we'll see pistol grips produced for it eventually, especially if the TM SCAR-H is made with the same pistol grip design.

I like the look of the Tango down pistol grip, but what do you think about the stock adaptor?

I have not felt the recoil of a Scar (real or TM) but the Real Scar is supposed to have a very managable Recoil (read low) so perhaps its more prudent to stick with what the TM already has (even though it wont be near to the RS;) ) although if (actually: When) I get a Scar L I'll probably want a heavier recoil! Shame making the recoil heavier would put the gearbox in jepardy. Perhaps when/if Laylax release a reinforced GB we could have heavier recoil!?

I'll be honest, the gun actually sounds quite nice to me! I was impressed with the sound! Also looks awsome. Also as far as a name, I think it should be called A.R.M.S : Advanced Recoil Motion System. J.

Lol, people manage with real firearms! It does make me smile when people go on and on (not saying you are!) that recoil on these guns (or GBBR) will make you super inaccurate. The only effect it will have is the one you let it have, recoil is extremely managable. as long as your hopup is nice and tight and has as little movement as possible (which the TM does) then it wont effect the accuracy! A friend of mine did make an interesting observation about this though in that RS manufacturers are trying as hard as they can to reduce recoil, and Airsoft manufacturers are trying to introdu

Well you can put me down for a pre order of one of the Raptors for the sopmod! (socom-front wired) I would prefer to lock the rifle in semi using a fet and avoid modding the selector plate as i have a short upper receiver setup and a SPR length upper also and would like the ability to swap and change relatively quickly but still retain full auto! Awsome news! I don't know alot about AWS Fets, but will it allow us to switch to Semi auto only configs? Just read the product descriptions, definately the Raptor model for me, need that semi auto only config and liking the ability to swithc to semi,burst mode aswell. all the other functions of the FET make it sound awsome!

Does anyone have a hopup unit (compete) they dont want!? really struggling to find anywhere with one in stock. Also has anyone tried the Metal hop chamber, by Lonex I think, any improvement? noticeable at all?

You can fit a split pack lipo in there, 7.4v about 1100 mah. If you have access to any milling type machines you may consider altering the barrel to allow a larger mah batt to fit, but I wouldnt recommend it for stability reasons. I run a Madbull Mk18 ris2 12.5 inch ris and use a peq 15 and lipo, but also have a split pack lipo as a back up for inside the rail.

My SOCOM's re-birth; The SOCOM/SOPMOD SPR MOD 1 Enjoy. and with a bit of kit (my attempt at "photography", but bad lighting meant flash time!)
