  1. Did you end up using propane? If so how did it run?

Honestly they are still a solid rifle, version 1 and 2 at least and the waffle mags. The newer version 3 and the stanag mags I don't know about but I'd say they are also probably great as well, I don't think they are that different. But I just don't use mine any more! I had mine TDC moded, for the cradle bolt and parts and then never used it more than a couple of times but it's still a great gun. Mags still solid with no leaks. Shoots pretty well, though I havnt range tested it in a while. I moved on to WE and now GHK, both are much more customisable and able to accept real/airsoft par
  3. Yes Devilhunter! Also interested! Really good work. Any skirmish reports on its use/reliability etc?
  4. Yeah that was a thought that crossed my mind. Had an issue today while working in my latest WE M4, the front sight id purchased (KAC Flip up type for an older SR16) did not fit... The roll pin holes were too close together, eg the holes did not align with the barrel holes. Is this an AEG vs RS spec issue? Any brands that will fit WE spec barrels? RS again?
  5. That's pricey for the RS, I'm not happy spending 130 quid, better start saving. Will look at other options, eBay/import. Anyone modded a replica version?
  6. Tried a search and couldn't find a helpful or definitive answer: Which ready mag systems will fit a WE M4/4168? I know a RS one will fit but I'm after a replica (G&P or ICS etc) as I'm not sure I can source an RS version in UK (please feel free to correct me on this!)
  7. Very nice detailed review. I picked one of these up when they first came out but I haven't had the chance to properly open her up. A clean of trigger mech and internals helped but still very mushy semi auto response and I also got full auto on occasion when in semi which I assumed was due to problems with the seer tolerances. Will now open if up again and try the mod you've suggested. Also the hopup mod as it does have issues with adjustments. Just as an extra I have not seen any extra mags for this but the SMG-8 mags fit but require a minor mod to the serrations which interact with th
  8. If your interested and I recall someone, possibly you, asking about a mk12 SPR outer barrel (dytac version) I have one or sale. (Sorry for the shameless plug guys)
  9. Thanks for your views on the WE, glad others are talking about it! I'm also after the collapsible stock model, gonna wait for that till I buy but always good to hear how it performs. Let us know how you get on with shooting!

There's a Facebook group? To be honest I've gone over to using WE GBBr's and haven't skirmished the kjw for a long while, though I've lent it out and ppl have been impressed. I did test it today on the new WE Nuprol 3.0 and... Shock horror, one of my mags had a little leak! Quick tweak with Allen key seemed to solve it but I should really service the mags, they've been stored so long. As for European KJW, owners (UK) I don't personally think I need stanag mags. And I have never seen another KJW M4 over here, though I know they are about. Demand in UK will be very low I'm afraid.
  11. Nice review Chef, thanks for reposting it, keep your updates flowing. I always prefer a succinct and practical review like yours to ones that go on with themselves. hopefully the good turn out of the K will transcribe over to the A3 version (or whatever the folding stock variant is known as these days) when it's released. Most initial reviews of the apache seem very positive, wish I'd waited rather than picking up the WE/New wave super rice 7 (etc) MP7, as although it's well made externally it has issues and I'm not satisfied I could skirmish it at the moment as you have with the Mp5k. T
  12. Aznriptide859, would you recommend going for a kydex holster made for a G21 (rather than 17) to fit airsoft glock frames? Specifically WE G17? I have had issues with g17's fitting RS safarilands in the past but nothing a heat gun won't fix. Kydex will likely be different I suspect.
  13. I have a dytac 16" outer barrel, specifically SPR, made for the sopmod/socom. Was thinking about doing another build with it, but can't seem to get around to it. It's yours if you want it (not for free of course ) pm me if interested.

That's an unexpected treat. Didn't personally hear anything about this!? However not really gonna spend $47 a mag for the look when I have 8 fully working mags already. Other Ppl will though! lets hope for more bits!
  15. Training day today using the 416 and plenty of testing for the ORGA barrel. Put around 800 rounds through her today. Running at around 345 fps with 0.2g but using 0.3g blaster devils. I will start by echoing charle 6, the hopup is pain to adjust! As I'm sure regular users know. Had it roughly set but didn't get a real chance to sit and carefully adjust it at distance. I started the day with the 6.23 WB and a 75o maple leaf bucking. Worked quite well but there was some inconsistency. Occasionally there would be 2-3 rounds with zero hopup? Not sure why. But overall the accuracy was useab
  16. Have been experimenting with an ORGA Magnus wide bore barrel (6.23mm, 363mm length) in my WE 416, along with a maple leaf 75o bucking and so far I'm quite impressed with the results. As with any new bucking there was some bedding in time and the first 150ish rounds had the occasional flyer and round hooking left or right, but it really seems to have bedded in well now and works consistently. I have yet to put it on an exactly measured range to test overall accuracy but having played with it in a woodland milsim game I came away smiling after reaching out to 50-60 metres accurately. Will
  17. Buy direct from theorga online shop. good service and fast hassle free shiping, even missed import duty.
  18. If it takes AEG barrels try ORGA 6.23 wide bore
  19. Hi all, picked up a 416 recently and really enjoying it thus far! About 300 rds through, no problems as yet! Range is pretty decent, getting 50m good accuracy with .28s and the bb's are carrying on a bit more after that, max range maybe 60m. Looking at a few different inner barrel setups and hopup combos to try maximise the range. Trying to get a hold of a REAPS bucking. Any ideas where it's in stock? Any UK or european stockists? Managed to buy a maple leaf bucking, picked up the 75 and 80o versions, are these any good? If I can score 4 more mags should be able to give it a good te
  20. Thanks for the continuing updates on these! Very interested in the products. Great story about the yellow patch. Hopefully we will see a UK release for these! And not a watered down version to placate the whiny Health and safety types who are worried about everything! I'm sure there are ppl on these very forums who would have plenty to say about this awesome product and how it'll never see release, it's as if they don't want it and they can only see problems with it! Where's the optimism gone? Anyways I'm also sure there is a large silent majority who can't wait for this! but I'm hopeful
  21. Fire support do, don't know if it is currently 'in' stock though.
  22. Before the ARS, etc, versions where available I dremeled a gbbr ASAP to fit. No dramas, just don't take off too much.
  23. Arne71, my suggestion to your mate is to leave the beautiful recce rifle as it is and if they must have a diemaco then sell the much more expensive recce and use the money to buy a sopmod/socom which will be 100 times easier to convert. The rails on recces are notoriously hard to get off.
  24. Popped fuses, rather than mechanical is probably a crossed wiring problem. I popped 3 prommy fuses before I figured my wiring problem out. Then I cut the fuse out and straight wired it! It could be mechanical, but if the stock tube was bent, and your tech had no Idea what they were doing its probably wiring.
