  1. Polite request...can people please stop stacking 2 userbars on the same line in signatures? It makes your sig 700px wide, which is wider than the forum permits, but more importantly it is skewing forum pages which is really wee-weeing me off! Maybe Im being petty...maybe not.
  2. Only occasional slowdowns and dropouts for me. No real price to pay seeing as it is such a great free service. I for one appreciate that the forum is here at all!
  3. As requested - pics! Ive got pics with my mods as pics of the guns without the bits are all over the place And I was asked for a pic of the cocking handle... Tried to take some pics of the ribbed cylinder outer but the light isnt good enough and it kept flashing out with my mini Medion camera. Additions: Cut-down CA handguards CA carry handle CA mag clamp Colt replica 4x20 scope - eye relief on 3rd out position is brill G&P 'AK' folding foregrip UTG sling loops
  4. Well at £299 in the UK, and about £230 with shipping from HK, its an expensive speciality gun. And I thought the MP7 was an expensive sidearm!
  5. I typed out an in-game review of this but then my poo-ey ISP dropped just as I hit Add Reply...so here we go again! Finally got to use this gun today as I have no test range at home. Forgot to take my camera to get some pics of it...Ill have to take some on my next day off which is Wednesday. Okay, got to the site and managed to break the gun in with a couple of hicaps worth of fire. First firing confirmed what I expected - the gun is quite short range (dont ask me to name a distance, Im pathetic at assessing ranges!), Id say about 2/3rds the range of my A2 Rifle when it was stock.
  6. The day before my first skirmish with it, an ever poorer than usual pic of the CQB Compact SEAL: And yes, the front sight is on the right way this time. It looks a little too far forward, thats how Ive had to mount it to get the front sling strap to fit. It will be replaced with an RIS sling mount, and the foregrip is already due to be replaced with a folding version.
  7. A bit of advice to anyone buying one of these: Ive been told by a leading shop that you arent supposed to move the crane stock with the battery in place...seems a bit silly to me. But thats how I chafed through my wire so there ya go. The good news is...there is a solution. As long as you dont mind running 9.6v, this is a fab battery: http://www.airsoftarmoury.co.uk/product_in...6aee029fd93d2ce Theres no cells in the centre, so no stubborn battery to move. The only mods I would suggest are that you file down the ends of the stock rail guide inside the back of the stock to
  8. Will do, as soon as I get some decent light. I dont come home till its dark ATM
  9. I was PM'd by a member to tell them about this gun...so I figured Id post it up here as well. Theres nothing I can tell you about most Armalites that you dont already know, so Ill stick to the CQB specific stuff. --- The main reason I got this gun is because I wanted a reliable backup. Ive had a real bad run-in with GBBs, so I needed a small gun that could fit inside the SMG portion of my multiple carry bag (I ride a motorbike so dont have much storage room!) and a bonus was being able to take M16 magazines. Even a G36K was too long, so I was really stuck for choice. Good job that
  10. Because Im an idiot Seriously, I did it that way because its more streamlined for faster target aquisition... yeh, right
  11. Apologies in advance for pic quality...not enough battery power to fire the flash. My M15A2 Rifle compared to my new M15A4 CQB Compact SEAL. SEAL has CA RIS rail covers sawn down to size to fit. Shame I have to remove the flash hider to get it into the SMG portion of my gun bag but, ah well.
  12. From (stock...this aint my actual gun because I didnt photo it before...): M15A2 Rifle To: M15A2 Delta HBAR(!) I have a proper Cherokee cheekpiece but am having issues with it. Yep, I guess Ive just bolted stuff to the outside but its mine and I love it! Internal work: Systema 1J spring, Systema hop, Systema hop rubber, Prometheus 6.04 tightbore barrel, Guarder nozzle, First Factory STRIKE chamber, Systema 'Silent' piston and cylinder head, TM piston, lots of Hotol's finest EP2 lithium grease and a bit of BIC's finest biro tube as a hop nub. Edit: Forg
  13. I made a 'thanks' thread and it got spammed with pointless posts! 101Matt must be more lovable than me Im going to go commit MySpace suicide now. You BROKE my EGO

    Lasers!

I havent found a rifle bag that fits it like that! Its part of my 'Stop the RIS!' campaign against what I call Sticklebrick guns coated with tac rails Next on my list, a Darkhawk with 2 Moscarts and a bipod

    Lasers!

Drat! I thought the mags looked wrong. NM! Ive posted this before under Glocks but heres my entry to the laser thread: Whats the only thing better than an LS4 laser? 2 LS4 lasers!
  16. Update on my M15A2 Delta H-BAR 'Cheap as Chips' semi-project. Added: Scope rail (thanks to an Arnies user who's name I cant recall ) TASCO 3-9x40 scope G&P M16VN magazine (just didnt look right with 30rd mags) Internal (thanks to all the help Ive received from Arnies members!): Prometheus 6.04 tightbore barrel Systema hop unit Systema hop rubber Guarder nozzle First Factory STRIKE Chamber Lots of Lithium grease (it was practically dry inside ) Got but not yet fitted: Cherokee DELTA Cheekpiece (having issues with stripped threads... )

    Lasers!

I thought MP7...but then I saw the base of the mag which looks MAC-ish. Hmm...does the person with the correct guess win the gun? Edit: Ive jumped to the UMP camp

    Lasers!

Is that a MAC11 hiding under all that sticklebrick?
  19. My final bipod arrived a week ago. Mason AR-15 Sporter Cheekpiece came yesterday. Im impressed with the bipod, not impressed with the cheekpiece. Ill be ordering a Cherokee Delta cheekpiece as soon as funds allow. For now, it will suffice, as it has sort of the looks Im trying to achieve. Sorry for poor pic quality.
  20. art_you8...what a fab bloke Tri-rail mount, Police tac light, LS-something laser for £20 + p&p. Also got a TASCO 3-9x40 scope for £15 + p&p. The other torch is a Classic Army 180w without remote lead from another forum for £15, and the second laser is from a £8 VB Sport Glock 18C EBB. Oh, and the gun is a KSC G23f bought for £40 + a used P90 hicap. Only the best will do on the GuzziHero Budget Battlefield! Edit: 19 Glocks???! NINETEEN???????? Your holster rig setup must look like a spiders web Sheesh!
  21. Glock Longslide: http://www.glock.com/g17l.htm
  22. LOL - no. Its part of my ongoing "Stop ruining good guns with Sticklebrick" campaign
  23. I thought that...with a lovely TASCO 3-9x40 on (I have one). Or maybe an NVS unit but itll need plenty of eye relief!
  24. Please dont - rep me for this...its just a joke, and my protest against tac rails! --- How much is too much?
  25. True Ive even taken to adding 'tactical scratches' to give it a more battleworn look Although that Top Point looks ridiculous...thats why Ive ordered one of those cheapo 4x20 metal scopes off eBay. And Im quite proud of the home-made magpulls using duct tape and window sash cord. Thats guerrilla-pimpin'
