good job the main rail is two pieces and the tri rail bit allow's it to be axtended to fit longer/shorter receivers. not sure why they made it that way but it is also sold as fitting siaga shotguns, is that receiver longer than an ak47 receiver. My main concern was it not fitting into the rear site holder on an airsoft receiver.

when i first got mine the bb's did fall through the hop up and out the barrel so i took the barrel and hop unit apart to find that the barrel was upside down and the hop rubber was fitted in the hop chamber wrong.I reasembled it correctly , now every thing work as it should and the bb's no longer fall out the barrel

i have rewired my ak 249 para and replaced the fuse and holder to the blade type used for cars ,replaced the micro switch with a high temp one rated at 30amp which i got from rs components and run mine on a 11.1v 2200mah li-poly battery which is still located in the hand gaurd.It has been like this for about two months now and has had about 25 000 bbs through it with now problems

strip the internals on the mag,2 screws on the bottom and 2 near the top .their is a brass feed pipe coming from the feed mechanism pull this out and check that no bbs are jammed in their

the motor on my gearbox has burnt out but the rest of the gearbox is ok .any body know what type and make of motor i should replace this with

lost count at 80,000 rounds about a month ago but it still going strong.a few minor problems witch were easy sorted(electrical faults, mag feed switch and trigger snapped)most parts now availible in uk

you could try removing the main spring and see if the gearbox will turn when you pull trigger,if it the motor turn with the spring removed then it could be a faulty motor or connection.what size battery are you using and has the gun ever fired

ok disconect your main battery for gun but leave the mag feed battery in place.remove boxmag from gun now short out two of the four pin to see if you can get the boxmag to feed?if it feeds your boxmag is fine and the problem is in the gun.now remove gearbox and check wires to switch next to trigger if all look ok reconnect boxmag to the gun without main battery.under the gearbox their is a small white push connector that goes to the mag feed switch,pull this apart and short out,if the mag does not feed their is a fault between gun connection and switch.if it feed then their is a problem up to

have you check the connectors on the boxmag the bit that goes into the gun.there is 4 small pins some times the get jammed in and dont connect.use a small scewdriver and check there free and line up. i have had my star m249 for about 3 months now it has broke down twice ,boxmag feed switch broke, chucked that one away and got new small push to make switch from maplin and hotglued in place no problems since, then i snaped the trigger because i forget to take the safty off was easy to fix as it had snapped the two little pins off,drilled them out and put a metal pin in job done. all in all i
