  1. Do-able, I made a 30 round bullet type Sig mag. It was just a pain in the *albartroth* is all.
  2. We've spoken about this... If the inheritance from my gran is enough, we are on like donkey kong. I have an idea about the 9mm version too, I have a spare TMP outer barrel kicking about, wouldn't it make sense if that were the threaded portion of the barrel? Then you could screw a TMP silencer onto the bugger.
  3. I love that metal 945, if you loose your mind don't forget to post it to me. Here is my WA Series 70, a bit cheeky but I want to swap it for a Marui 1911 if anyone is up for it. Heres the sales thread: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...howtopic=138231 Thanks all.
  4. No it isn't. The green AUG has a green button but it is painted and the paint doesn't last long. Mine are definitely green though.
  5. I'm 30, from the time I was 12 to now my entire family has forgotten my birthday 11 times, I will update here if they forget my next one (coming soon). The only person that remembers is my wife and (ironically) her mum, this year I got a real steel speedfeed stock for my Tanaka shotgun from my wife (two months early so I won't get anything on my birthday) that was the best thing I ever got. I don't understand though, I always remember theirs, I got my brother a hl headcrab hat for his this year (awesome since he wears a labcoat for work).
  6. No and No. The plastic mainspring housing is actually quite nice since it is rubberised like some real Detonics guns came with. The plastic rear sight is a bit naff. The brothers: New grips on the Detonics, new Surefire H310-r on the big one, just need to replace every part of the big 1911.
  7. It's a Noveske KFH in 14mm -ve thread
  8. This type works but I don't know exactly what you'd call it. I need a riser for my QD magnifier to bring it up to the level of my EOtech. Cable tie-grip problem will be sorted soon though...
  9. Your wish is my commode. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...c=93044&hl=
  10. If you do make a drop in kit, i.e. just the mag well, I'll buy one. For a silencer thread you might consider a 16x1mm +ve thread, it's on the MK23 SOCOM silencer so it is a sort of standard, as long as it looks OK. The extended outer barrel would also be concealed inside the silencer (depending on dimensions) I'd also buy one of those.
  11. I'd stab my mum for a HK79 on a G41TGS Oh well.
  12. Errr, everything except the muzzle device and the stock. It doesn't say anywhere that the M203 has to be on an AR variant, the RAS is a copy of the B+T RAS not an airsoft affectation. I like it, I think it will look pretty good when it is painted tan/FDE. On that note, I am pretty sure the stock is FDE and not OD at all. Lovely gun.
  13. RE: The front sight coming off. I sawed mine off and filed the edges off, I did the bayonet lug too. Then I realised that the Proud RAS partly attaches to the bayonet lug. Mind you, the bit of the RAS that attaches to the bayonet lug (like the bit that receives the body pin) is removable with a couple of allen bolts. Eventually I will paint it. But, I am lazy sod and I don't have any paint.
  14. I find them to be better, the hop is better, a one-piece as standard with easier adjustment and it stays where you put it. Plus the Sig series (including the 556) uses the V-3 gearbox which is stronger, easier to work on and has a more sensible wiring solution.
  15. Smeg. Good thing I didn't order one then. The SP M4 one wouldn't go on either.
  16. Flashing is where the two parts of a mould don't fit properly and when the part is cast a little metal seeps in between them. It leaves lumpy metal bits on the joins. I have a bit on the rail and one on the lower. No biggie.
  17. OK, I can add a few things to that. 1st, Some parts of my kit have flashing on them, to finish it properly I would have to file it off and repaint the receiver. 2nd, The lower receiver has horizontal holes in it and the kit comes with a load of pins to hold the two halves together. The instructions don't tell you to fit them so Sturgis and I didn't, next time I tear it down I will fit the pins and the lower will be a lot better. Again, if you were going to re-paint it you could fill the gaps with car body filler and it would look lovely. 3rd, the gap between the trigger guard
  18. Sorry mate, I sold the thing a while ago, it is the nine-ball strike face that is on there.
  19. 556 rules. Shorty version. Someone on the sig thread thought it was an M4 variant.
  20. Merged into one. Sig pistols and rifles
  21. I can answer that, I sold him the gun and it has no upgrade parts what so ever, except the long barrel and full cylinder I stuck in it for the 556 kit.
