  1. What do you need a long allen key for? I have a screwdriver with a ¼inch socket driver on the end. I have a six inch long ¼inch socket extension and on the end of that I have a load of hex drivers in different sizes. If you see me at the 'werks or the academy I can let you use it. Anyway, to get back on topic. Here we have: An M1100 with a barrel extension and the zeke kit and a home made hardened piston head, 40 shells for that on a blackhawk bandolier. A new (to me) chinese clone of a Marui Super 90, a bit blue but I will paint that when I can be bothered, I plan to

  3. Here's mine, a bit naff but meh.
  4. You know what, they are hideousalicious. Just function over form looking good.
  5. Yes, it is the first factory battery stock, it has a huge space in it, you can fit a 9.6v large type in it in the battery compartment and a 9.6v stick in the spine of it at the same time. It is also very sturdy, you can swing it around by it. I need the space for my batteries, two 7.4v LiPo batts in parallel to give 14.8v and in the spine of it I will have 1F of capacitors. I could fit a decent enough battery in the VIS but I am a power hungry mutant. Also, the weight will be useful to balance it out.
  6. Please excuse the blatant whoring but I am selling an H-Bar barrel assembly complete with inner barrel and hop. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...howtopic=154461
  7. I got the paint I was after, finished painting the M4 thingy, I got some Magpul rail covers to go with it. All I need are about 4 parts to have enough to finish the internals, problem is I have a new dog and my wife has lost her job so funds are short. I am selling a few things to raise the money so things should be back on track soon. Back to the pictures... It's feeling good, nice and solid.
  8. Here's a quick on of my EGLM, it's a STAR EGLM on an (unfinished) VIS/MAGPUL bodge. More in the armalite thread.
  9. Yeah, if you pull the little tab back on a std all the bbs come out in less than a second. In reality it's not as simple as that but it is a good indicator. that is 100+rps, mine feed flawlessly at 40rps so I'll test them with the new box and see what's what...
  10. OK, there is a nub on the top of the EGLM that fits in between the castellations on the rail of the weapon. For some weapons the castellations will be in the wrong place for the hole in the trigger housing to line up perfectly with the mag well. On those guns the user would need to put a hole in one of the raised bits on the bottom rail of the weapon to receive the nub. Given that, it will fit on mt ICS M4 and my WA M4, I should think it can be made to fit most M4s. On my VIS/PTS gun the magwell is too flared and I needed to remove a little material from the inside of the part of
  11. The sector gear releases two shots per revolution. 14.09:1 gear ratio. That is a shot for every 7 revolutions of the motor. I think I will actually have to limit the rof to the gun's ability to feed. I will have 1.5 Kw of power at 100A available plus 5F of capacitance in parallel. I think all that will outweigh the need to use an M170 spring to get 328fps from the setup and let me easily beat 50rps. I have already got a short stroked AUG with an M130 and a normal sector gear doing 40rps. Here is the link: http://forums.airsoftmechanics.com/index.php?topic=1299.0
  12. Thanks, I'm hoping for 50+rps. It is heavy but it's no heavier than the damn LSW I had to lug around for 5 years. Plus I am massive. Yeah, It looks good, I think I will sell my RAS 203. No need for it now. It depends what you are after, the Mk1 was a pain to assemble, there was a MK1.5 limited edition in a sort of green colour and the MkII and MkIII are a bit easier. There is a knack to assembling them, they are a pain and there is no formula for which components will make it work. It is sort of trial and error with the nozzle and hop rubber/nub.
  13. I sold my XM-607 and I was lacking an AR series weapon. I have an interesting idea for my WA M4 so I thought I'd build a "tacticool" M4. This is my first one so here goes. Dytac Vltor VIS upper MAGPUL pts lower STAR EGLM FF mahoosive battery stock. QD magnifier/eotech mount thing. Systema steel furniture kit Dytac gas block. I cut a barrel up so it would fit like this with the KFH right in front of the VIS. I have a MkIII Pro-Win box for it a set of Riot SC cyclone gears one of the new Panther uber-MOSFETs and a evo parts set I just need to build the i
  14. Stick the dovetail in the front of the sight. Then unscrew the bolt so that it tightens into the dent in the front of the rear sight.
  15. Yes, I think a flow restrictor would be a great idea for this gun, it seems like a bit of a gas hog and the performance on 134 is pretty good. Using a restrictor and green will give (if it is tuned correctly) a small boost in power but not too much and an increase in efficiency while at the same time reducing wear compared to green. In fact I am going to e-mail AI now...
  16. Do you think AI will release a propane adapter for these, they tend to make the guns they are fitted to a lot more gas efficient and give propane cheapness with 134a component care. If they can fit one in a standard WA mechanism why not these?
  17. The RA tech bolt stop arrived today, it came in a very nice little jewelery box type thing. Very nice, one piece, smooth to the touch. I will stick it in tonight and see how easily it goes in.
  18. Does that mean you need two of them but still have to shoot people 30 times to put them down?
  19. Yeah, me too, after the quality of the hop I wasn't the slightest bit hesitant about ordering the bolt stop. I just need to find a bolt I like now and I should have all the reliability mods completed. We'll see what's what when someone releases some VN cosmetics.
  20. There is a custom pack made of 8 aa cells that fits nicely.
  21. Don't know, they e-mailed me. Here is the picture.
  22. Yeah, it's only one screw. VIS is nice and easy too. *edit* Steel RA-tech WAM4 bolt stop coming soon, they are taking e-mail orders now...
  23. Yeah, STANAG pouches. You can get 2 in a 2 mag pouch but depending on the manufacturer it can be quite tight and you might have trouble withdrawing mags in a hurry.
