  1. I use two mags snapped together in a 3 mag pouch. or 3 mags snapped together in the 4 mag holder in my Arktis advanced chest rig. It's a bit loose but it doesn't bind when you withdraw them. The other thing you have to think about is that they are short so you have to put something in the bottom of the pouches. I use a little bag of bbs.
  2. Gah! It's all wrong, I want a slickside upper with a partial fence lower for my WAM4 and I want it now! *throws teddy in the corner*
  3. I answered that over PM but if anyone else is interested it is a 30 round mag I made myself out of two 20 round mags. Looks good, only holds about 40 rounds, has one or two feeding "issues".
  4. There is a big, strong chamber nut in here: You have to mod the front of the receiver and the bottom of the cocking tube, here is a pic of that and the outer barrel on its own. You then strongly screw on the outer barrel. The cocking tube slides on and is held by the grub screw on the sight. It is very cool, I like it.
  5. I'm always on at 0500, can you set your back ups for about half past, I've gone to work by then? Can you also buy me a new car? And a pony?
  6. Loading a new mag into the gun when there is a round in the chamber doesn't damage the hop. doing the above and then needlessly operating the cocking handle does. If you are doing a "tactical" reload, the hammer is already cocked when there is a round in the chamber. If the bolt locks back, there isn't a round in the chamber and you won't get a double feed. If you run out of gas and change the mag then you need to drop the mag, cock it and then stick a new mag in and go nuts. It's all about good drills. RA tech e-mailed me today about their replacement hammer, it has be
  7. Luckily (for me) the pinion gear of the ICS turbo 3000 that the previous owner fitted just died and all the gun does is scream in pain.
  8. If you have a lot of time to kill and strong arms you can build a full metal TM Sig SG550 and a full metal TM G3A3 and then dual wield them. You'll still look like a prat though.
  9. Got the G3 90% complete. I've got a bit of titivating left to do but you get the idea. I've got a CA metal kit and the armoured gallery barrel reinforcement thing. It is utterly rock solid. I look a bit mad in the photos, tough.
  10. All you have to do is ask. SG550 and SG556, both full metal both with MOSFET protected burst circuits. Here is a closer picture of the SG556 And now for the tiresome plug. The SG556 is now for sale please direct your interest to the following thread: Sexiness
  11. Yes indeed. Fantastic piece of kit, I've got the upgraded computer for it so I can race online, I don't though, I have wifi issues. Ah, Yes that is a problem. I have attached a photo. 12. I've done a nice little video of my room...
  13. Den offer it as a option, it isn't expensive but it took months to arrive. And Sterling Va is spelled Steding Va. Apart from that though the engraving is deep and sharply defined.
  14. This arrived today, got a nice metal G3A3 with trades in the works, pictures when it's done.
  15. I think the idea is that the new valve locks are designed to be more efficient with the gas and are probably made to tighter tolerances than the stock WA part.
  16. I thought it said "Live free ordie"
  17. I put shims of coke tin metal between the two halves of the feed tube, it was pinching the bbs at one point. Both of those mags have a really strong spring though, I wouldn't like to try a midcap in the gun.
  18. Well, I was sort of thinking along those lines but I would need to either extensively mod the TM stock to fit or try to source a Kokusai or RS one and they are both pretty rare and/or expensive. We'll see, I'll practice on an old JG M733 upper I have lying around.
  19. Yeah, I've seen what he has done, it's pretty impressive and I have external air guns but I really just want to tinker. I'll be getting one in a few days (or months depending on parcelfarce) and I'll assess the viability of it all.
  20. So, those of you that have your WAM4s to hand, what are the chances that an AEG upper could be modded to fit the WA internals given a mill and a lathe and a lot of time? Most importantly, do the holes for the receiver pins line up and are they the same width? Cheers. Mine is on the way but I am having some wicked ideas.
  21. Who cares about the M5, they are doing a proper M4/M203 for it. That is like sprinkling sex on a gun. Mmmmmmm.
  22. Contractions Verboten! Please report to your nearest centre for re-education. You meant their, what you said was "they are existence has not been proven", which is wrong. Unless you are from Dorset.
  23. With my H-Bar I used a Bore-Up set with an M100. Bore up sets work better with bigger springs though. I took it out and put it in a short stroked M120 setup for my XM607 so I can't give you any numbers.
  24. I've never accidentally crashed a car on the road but I have totaled tens of thousands of pounds worth of military plant equipment. Including rolling a JCB off a cliff and down a slope, it was pretty bad, the engine and three of the wheels came off. All the windows broke but the FOPS/ROPS cab was so nails it wasn't even bent. Lucky I had my helmet on. The worst bit was I didn't have my seatbelt on and I had the LSW, it doesn't fit in the weapon holder. As I felt it going I had time to put the belt on and give my gat a cuddle or me and it would have bounced around the inside of t
