Yeah, BBs can do that. I've got one, not as bad as yours, but underneath the rifle near the mag well. If it makes you feel any better though, my stock looks like it was mauled by a bear. I like it though. Big fan of the weathered gun look.

Eh, those kinds of people will all get EBRs eventualy. The purists(like me) will have wood stocks and plain rifles, and will all have better looking guns that those of the RIS whores. My kit as it stands right now. The E-tool is obviously just a filler. Needs a butt-pack next. I'll probaly switch out one of the canteens with another M14 mags pouch, when I get mroe mags. The radio needs a pouch too. Plus a holster that dosen't look quite so crappy. 10 points to anyone who gueses what that thing is. EDIT: That pic is smaller now.

Indeed, new ALICE stuff isn't that cheap. I don't think I paid 18 bucks for suspenders, but it wasn't that much cheaper for me. If you don't have a good surplus store, you can realy get screwed with that stuff. If I bought only from my local place, I would have ended up spending more than Dieter did on all my stuff. You gotta ebay that stuff, find really it cheap.

It would make a lot of sense. CA is trying to knock TM out of buisness for good. Why else would they set their price point so low? They could get 50 bucks or more out of thier M14s, but they're trying to steal as much buisness from TM now, so they can get away with more in the future once they're the most reliable AEG maker(...) Making thier M14 as a copy also denies TM from potential magazine sales, and discourages aftermarket manufacturers from producing TM compatible internals/externals. Lots of people buy TMs because the moment their guns come out, every part is available as an aftermarket

Your is looking very nice actualy. I think I'm just going to skirmish with mine a bunch untill it gets that cool "battle worn" look. Might take a while... Now that I've got your attention though...does you M14 have an unatural amount of play in the bolt? The charging handle on mine moves more than I think it should, is this normal? Maybe it just got misplace don mine during shipping or something...

It probaly means that UNco custom drilled out the bearing holes to allow 8mm bearings.

What he means is, the RPK's 590mm barrel probaly won't put out very much power without a bore up. Certainly if the barrel was shorter(m16 length) there would be no need for a boreup kit, but on this gun, it needs one. If SRC hans't provided one with the rifle that'd be a shame.

I don't see what a CA M14 would have going for it. 7mm bushings? Inferior hop-up? I dunno, maybe they can win some Marui fans over with some nicer externals, maybe a steel barrel or something. Or real wood.

Every Marui gearbox since the V1 days has been able to do that.

I'm just saysing, it's quite Ironic that he likes authenticity, and throwing a bunch of stuff on a Kalashnikov. Also, Darklite, how do the real 60rd mas load? Are they triple stack or something? It seems like those mags are the same length as the 30 round mags, just thicker. I can't figure out how that would work!?
