Have they replied since? Might be worth fully disassembling the hop unit and reassembling just to be sure mate?

The same thing has started to happen to my vfc mp7. I'm gonna change the hop rubber ASAP as I believe that to be the issue. Hopefully it's just the same issue on the 417? Hoping it doesn't happen to mine. Not even taken it to a game yet

Does each shell need longer than 3 seconds then?

As mentioned above put in a spacer inbetween the capsules. But also, don't twist the top puncturing pin down by hand, tighten down the center allen screw with a tool. Will pretty much guarantee both get punctured.
Yeah thanks I know how to do it I'm just saying it's a pain in the *albartroth* and would rather pay more for 88g tanks and just change them over in 10 seconds.
It's time consuming enough as it is so anything that reduces that time is worth the money in my book.
I'm still using the standard cardboard caps for the shells with half a sheet of toilet paper folded over several times as wadding. Perfect for cqb IMO.

For the wadding mate. I'm gonna experiment with other materials too like maybe some small squares of thin cloth.

Half a sheet of toilet paper works well for wadding. Really decent spread!
Got my adapter and 88g co2 bottles today. As it's been pointed out it's much more expensive than the 12g capsules but so much easier to use. It's a struggle to get both of my capsules to pop most of the time.

I bought that for pretty good deal and sold it quite soon after, it's quite a bit bigger than the old surefire handguard, looked funny when I put it on the breacher.
Did you get any pics of it fitted mate??

Cool video. Anyone know what length barrel is that? I want that flash hider but I've only seen a 16 inch threaded barrel and that looks like a 14.

On the point of dry firing, if you want to leave the weapon empty, don't you have to dry fire it once to reset the hammer otherwise you leave it cocked?

My full auto is slower than everyone else's that I've seen but consistent. Can do two FA mag dumps in a row on one charge of gas. Not that I really care that much it's just out of interested really.
Also, since removing the brass restrictor the full auto has improved massively to what I would say is the norm from what I've seen.

A few things I've noticed:
WA system hammer springs don't fit as they aren't wide enough for the back of the hammer. Think I tried a g&p 150% spring. Other hammer springs may be wider so may fit but that's all I had.
Also, once the mags get cold, because they are insulated by the plastic shell, they take bloody ages to warm up again. It's obvious but something I hadn't thought if you can do what you might normally so which is warm the mag with your hands....../armpit/groin.
Wear on the internals is very very minimal after about 300 rounds from what I can see. Bolt catch is steel as is the front 8mm or so of the bcg so no real wear there.

10 mags through the mag that came with mine with no jamming issues. (Thankfully as there's not much that's more annoying)
