If you don't mind me asking, what are you using it for? Having played about with it a bit now, I'm impressed with mine. Got it same day I posted pics. Always one of the first things I do when I get a new blade. Keep thinking I want another CRKT, but there's not really any others I'm overly fond of. Might have to pick up another sting. Hmm. There's other knives higher up the list though.

I'd imagine removing material from the inside of the 870 stock until it fit, given that's how other people have done it. Tape is probably due to how lame the ABS is Personally I find it easier to cock with that style stock.

Tis indeed, Candyman made it for me. Based on this. It's held on by two grub screws, can see one of them in the second pic. They go through the heatshield as well, hold the front end on
