  1. Real quick on the Obi saber vibration unit.... You can remove it, but as mentioned you do have to stress crack the hilt, pry it open. I did that to mine....but the sounds still bug me. Crash....static....static.... That's the way it's supposed to be but I just hate the sound. I stopped using mine in lieu of the Anakin model....then the BYO model. I will try to take pics and do some reviews before the end of the year. I do have a lot of sabers....
  2. I think it's weird that people find this topic silly.... My buddies and I have been carrying lightsabers for night games for 2 years....and have slowly seen more people doing so at major events in the midwest. Why do we do it? Because we have never been to a night game that worked right. One that ran as written or planned. One that didn't end with people yelling at each other for close shots or people getting lost or hurt from stumbling around in the black. We do it to lighten the mood and to have fun. What a strange concept that is huh? Not that they've always been welcomed by other p
  3. Related to the "rattle" and disassembly of the Pegasus cylnder: This is assuming you've made it far enough to remove the cylinder. As pointed out in another topic, to remove the cylinder you basically have to take off the grip, trigger gaurd, and remove the hammer. Once the hammer is out of the way, you use the enclosed 2 prong tool to unscrew the screw and associated pieces, as well as the front retaining pin which comes out easily. Swing open the shell port arm and roll out the gas cylinder. The loading tube will need to out as well. If you look closely you can see the gener
  4. Sheesh guys....I forgot I was going to take a pick of the "rattle" causer. I'll try to get to it tonight....but again, it's not too important. When it does fall off, the gun just won't shoot....and then you'll have to go in there.... "Don't screw thet hammer screw too tight. " Absolutely. This can really hamper your overall action. I also pull out the loading tube when I'm going to flip and play. Your cylinder will rotate much easier.
  5. And I would have gotten away with it too....if it wasn't for that meddling Buttons.
  6. Sorry....just 3 SAA's. You have to pry the back side of the cylinder off. Like I said, It's not easy the firt time because you think you'll break something, but it does eventually come off. Just be careful as there is an O-ring (that's the resistance) that could be damaged depending on the tool you use. I've just used a jewelers flat head until I have enough of a gap to go to a bigger one.
  7. Shao, you can indeed open the Cylinder and the rattle is a part of the Pegasus system. A screw slowly loosens and the bracket its holding rattles. I think it actually did rattle all the way off for me once but it's not a terrible issue. I have locktite on all 3 3 of my SAA's on the screw I mentioned. I take my SAA's apart quite a bit and though it's not easy, the cylinder can be disassembled. If I get a chance I can try to take photos....but I'm not due to "maintain" my SAA's as I haven't used them in acouple months.
