Hi all, Installation instructions are on the G&P website Mine didn't come with the large shims for the receiver nut and although the nut fit OK (on an ICS upper receiver) I couldn't get the spacing right no matter how much I fiddled with it - I ended up filing a small amount off the rear of the URX until the top rails lined up without a gap. The rail spacing is still about 1mm out (as it was before I made any adjustments) but it's solid as a rock (just tightened by hand - I haven't got the G&P tools either). Cheers H.

IIRC it bolts on through the the little round hole just behind the bipod (the pintle mount?). Cheers H

No probs - linky I'd give them a quick call to make sure they're what you're after - they may be able to do the connectors on their own. Good luck H.

Hi, fallout, you can get motor spade connectors form modelsport for £1.50/pr (wired) - don't know any airsoft shops that stock them tho' slightly OT, but has anyone heard if Airsoft World has got their stock in yet. I know it was supposed to arrive yesterday, but I don't want to hassle them if someone else has spoken to them. Conversely, I don't want to wait in all day if mine isn't coming - I'll call them later if no-one posts. Cheers H.

Thanks for posting this - I was going to call them Friday if I hadn't heard anything, but I'll hold off now. In fact, thanks to everyone who's posted info so far I've got a short checklist of things to do when mine turns up (tighten screws, grease gears, check hop nub) and plenty of stuff for the long term (sort the compression, power, ROF & add a MOSFET to protect the switch) - better get a heater sorted for the shed Cheers H.

That sounds cool - I assume before then that the CA's had a little lever on the side? If I'd have known, I would have got one rather than an ICS - I like bits that have a function. I'm sure it is an advantage - I just don't see how (I suppose it helps if you loose yours in a pile of other MP5's ) Thanks H. p.s. sorry to go a bit OT - I'd post some pics of my ICS SD3 but i'm sure you all know what a bog standard AEG looks like . Just waiting to fit an RDS and a tac-light.

What's Brügger & Thomet about the new CA MP5's then? Is it just the trades, or do they have different handguards (or even an attempt to replicate the shiny Teflon finish )? Just interested really Hilts.

Sorry, I was just showing what troops had mounted on theirs in real life - I know it's probably useless for airsoft, but when has that stopped anyone . Nice set of upgrades btw .

Tac-Light and AN/PEQ - clicky - I know it's not a proper RIS , but you get the idea. There's also one with an EOTECH mounted forward like on a SOC - clicky - smart . The pic of the sniper with the smiley painted on his lens cover is on there too somewhere - his scope is mounted to a RIS with both scope mounts forward (found it!).
