  1. Couple of things, you will want to use the heaviest BB's you can with it. It's not just an American thing. Even with the short barrel you have, you will get more benefits for performance and range by using heaver BB's.

Also you won't want to run the regulator at max input, and then use a different nozzle to adjust the FPS. The higher your input pressure, the more air you use, the faster you go through it. If you have access to an HPA fill station where you play, not that big of a deal. If you don't, plan on buying extra and larger tanks. You want to try to find that balance between input pressure, inner barrel, nozzle size, and settings to get the FPS and ROF you want, while being as efficient as possible.

  2. So while not my 1st choice for a single mag shingle for the AKM magazines. The condor single/duel mag shingles fit the AKM mags with out issues (but not the stacker pouchs).

I should have my AKM build finished in about a month or so. I'm having a P* installed in my AKM. Then I need to finish ordering the hop up parts to put together an r-hop'd barrel with a flat nub for it.

  3. Look into pouches/rigs made by headontactical.com his chest rigs/single mag pouches work beautifully. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk 2 FYI, those tactical tailor fight light pouches, while lighter, are on the flimsy side. Reinserting mags for when/if you top off becomes more challenging with them.

Those don't look to bad. So other then the TT pouches having an issue inserting mags quickly, the AKM mags will fit in them?

  4. Vercingetorix was asking me in regards to the Magpul PTS Masada, not the A&K Masada. The PTS Masada is a completely different beast to the A&K Masada. The conspiracy theorists that keep spreading rumors that A&K stole the design from Magpul PTS, will soon find out just how wrong they were in their comments. Background information regarding A&K's Masada and PTS' ACR will be revealed soon.

From your posts, you've made it clear that they are different, and I'm looking foward to seeing the PTS version. Also hoping for a ver. 3 mechbox in it.

I also took Vercingetorix's post as different questions. As he mentioned he just ordered the A&K version.

  5. And I just bit the bullet and bought an A&K too :(

Quick question for you though, since this is probably something they won't mind answering. Could I put my Haynes box in with minimal mods? As that is one major deciding factor and since you are there I can get a clear cut answer

The Haynes mechbox I have will not fit in my A&K Masada.

On the haynes box (at least on mine) the angle at the bottom of the mechbox (where the grip screws into the box) is a little different then the stock mechbox and it will not seat into the grip area on the A&K. It can be screwed down, but then the mechbox and air nozzle will not line up with the hop up unit.

But the different angle in that area hasn't been a problem at all, when I've put it into different M4 bodies.

  6. Oddly enough only PMags seem to be the only feeding mags in the body regardless. I plan to get all PMags.

Did you file the whole bump or just part/half of it? How much did you need to file? I haven't really sanded anything before...xD Id rather not suitcase it up.

I dont get why they would do that, a machining error?

First check your pmag and see if it's got wear marks on the front or back from the bump. Because that's the one you'll want to file down.

On mine it was the bump at the front of the magwell. I used a small flat file, and filed the bump down a little bit at a time until I could get the mag in and out with needing to pound it in.

It is still a tight fit, but nothing like it was. I had no feeding problems, with either Pmags or regular mags.

  7. Has anyone had a problem fitting mags into a King Arms body?

I notice the back of the magwell has a bump in the middle, and my G&P and JG do not, could that be the problem? has anyone experienced this?

I'M useing PMAGs, that fit in my JG and G&P great, but to tight in my fully custom M4 KA body

Better to ask in a place full of Arma fans then a new topic.

Yes. I have the same issue with the 2 KA metal bodies I have.

I ended up filing down the little bumps until the Pmags would fit.

They're still a little tight, but nothing like they were before.

The down side to filing the bumps is, now anything except a Pmag is loose in the magwell.

I solved that by selling all my other midcaps and buying more Pmags.

  8. Here's my newest project.

King Arms FDE M7A1. Put the ACM Mbus sights on it to see how they looked, along with a (RS) EOtech 512.

Sad thing is, for as nice is this AEG is out of the box, I bought it for parts to use as the base for an FDE Vltor CASV-M build.
