  1. Apologies for not having made my new Galil presentable, but I have a question: Where to source midcaps for the Cybergun/CM Galil, and what to do to fit AK midcaps to it? Also, as I mentioned last year, I'm planning to convert my Galil to a Chinese Assault Rifle from Fallout 3, and here's a photo of how the RPD foregrip fits Galil barrel and gas tube. http://seriously-mike.tumblr.com/post/73217292753/initial-fitting-shows-promise
  2. Ok, lemme see. Yep, workski.
  3. Tapatalk doesn't seem to work for me, I can view threads, but I can't reply to them, I get some message about my "secure key" not matching one "submitted earlier" - hell, I didn't submit anything!
  4. Gunfire offers a Hakkotsu Thunder bundled with the APS UAR. If only they had the UPR as well.

  5. You don't say, I have one too! It's ugly, impractical, looks cheap and doesn't really fit bull barrels, but for that schlocky 80s sci-fi movie feeling, it's irreplaceable. I swapped it for a factory Ruger wood stock in mine.
  6. I, on the other hand, would consider a select-fire 10/22, but I'd have to buy a second one, mostly because I don't trust the gas capacity of original magazines and I'm looking for some reason to own two of them . A 2nd-gen select-fire 10/22 in a Muzzelite stock would be pretty ducky to own.
  7. Recently my mag blew a seal, but it's a 1st-gen. I took it apart, sprayed the seal with silicone spray, then put the mag back together.
  8. Am I getting this right that "Shipping Label Created" is when your order gets dragged to the post office? Because then, there isn't much anyone can do when the parcel gets into the postal system.
  9. All's fine and dandy, but poke the admins for a "Commercial User" status, just in case.
  10. Thank you, it's GLS I had in mind. But the local DPD is a bunch of lazy gits too, so unless they're springing for UPS, DHL or DB Schenker (none of those failed me yet), I really don't see any difference between postal service and courier.
  11. Gunfire uses some *suitcasey* courier company for local deliveries, can't really remember the name but after I ordered a scope mount last time, I was kinda disappointed with what the courier company pulled. I had to drag my *albatross* to their pick-up office, located in a grubby copy shop not far from my home, and all that because those berks can't deliver the package after 4PM.
  12. I swear to God I saw an ACM extended outer barrel with integrated muzzle brake, but I can't find it anywhere. Am I going crazy or is it a real thing?

It was an universal jobbie fitting the standard -14mm thread.

  13. Barrel bands aren't always used with the bull barrel. The only one I have. After payday I'm getting a slimmer suppressor and new mount rings.
  14. My KJW 10/22, now in a factory Ruger stock.

    Guns and gear. Mostly.
  16. I need a pair of old-school sling rings (and mounts) for my wood stock. I found some guy over here who sells repro Mauser sling mounts for eleven bucks a pop, I guess it'll be hard to dig up anything cheaper...
  17. Oh the overseas orders. Looks like the military stuff is going to get here on schedule, but some guys on AliExpress make the terrible first impression of being daft beyond comprehension.

  18. So, computer upgraded, now to think of some airsoft projects. Turn my Broomhandle Mauser into a variation of the PASAM submachine gun perhaps?

  19. I guess you're right, but considering I had to cough up $200 for the stock itself, shipping, duty and VAT, I kinda go ballistic seeing that sort of prices anyway.
  20. 80 quid for a Muzzelite. With no VAT and much lower shipping cost. Why oh why everything must come up way too late.
  21. Ah hell, might as well drop my M10 in.
  22. Four hundred bucks before shipping. Why did it have to be so nice and why am I having stupid ideas about trying to turn it into a Walther WA2000? If the Ares one wasn't so obscenely expensive (and, also, out of stock), I would even think about gutting it and putting M1's action inside. I mean, this thing is already built like a brick outhouse, puts out roughly 440 fps and isn't terribly bothered about cold.
  23. [IMG ]http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s483/SeriouslyMike/Dscf0214.jpg[/IMG ] Just tried inserting an image from my PB account, noworkski. Even posting it as code (as to avoid parsing by the forum) returns an error unless I put spaces in the IMG tags to disable them entirely.
  24. Yes, you'll have to unscrew the front of the barrel and take out that lump of metal. It's hard to do, had to use a pipe wrench for it, but it's possible.
