  1. Like that Stealth? It's true that if you use it outdoors and dial it down enough, it does minimize the ghosting, but it's still there. It's a shambles because I don't want to be focused on faffing about with the controls when I move indoors to get it managable, I want to be looking out at my surroundings, if it auto-adjusted it'd be sweet, but that's not going to happen!
  2. Yeah, at the mo stay away from the 512 clones, they've got some trouble with triple reticles due to a design flaw. Wait for a V2, as the exterior is a good, solid build.
  3. Render, look at the stock, you sit the AR so that the barrel and working parts are sitting over your shoulder, there is nothing directly behind them. Logically, when firing this gives the muzzle a tendency to climb, and cause a moment around the shoulder. Conversely look at a standard stock, the butt sits in the shoulder and the recoil is transfered liniarly.
  4. What I think he means is that the AR was made so that the barrel is in line with the stock, which is in line with your shoulder, with the sights sitting high above that "line" Conversely, look at the M14, the stock curves down so the sights are closer to the barrel, and the barrel is not in line with the butt of the stock. This means the M14 recoil has a tendency to roll up, (over) the shoulder, whereas the recoil of the M4 goes straight into the shoulder. The duo stock defeats this logic, so he's right... looks nice though!
  5. awesome, I was looking to get the Noveske body later in the year, couldn't jusfity buying it ontop of the other bits! I bought one of those Troy type curvy pistol grips but it looks like it needs a bit of modding to get it fitting right. Might see you down Electrowerkz with it somestage soon...
  6. Yo, No Trace... you have a very familiar looking weapon to mine, save a few small changes good work.
  7. My M4 from a couple of pages back, updated with an ACM 910A and Eotech 552 clone. Compared to what it was (a DMR style rifle) it's now very pokey the KA barrel gives the front end some heft, but the vert grip makes it easy to shoulder.
  8. Good work, hotlinking to MM now means we have a password on this page! Sorted
  9. That looks about right, my logic being: it doesn't have any screws on the side of it, to mount it to the side of the frame. Also it's got 2 sides to it which most frame mounted ones don't have. Still probably worth waiting for a definate.
  10. It's a spring eject bipod, attached to a QD bipod RIS Adapter, which I'm assuming is attached to a RIS rail attached to the Bipod nut on the M14... longwinded huh?!
  11. The latest incarnation of my M4, begrudgingly I've sold the M6 replica to replace it with a Surefire 900A clone, to head further towards the Noveske CQB look. Silenced
  12. Well he does say "lighter version" so technically speaking it is, assuming he's removed some gear! Also, what may not be light for you may be light for him. Either way, an ownage loadout.
  13. Also the distinct lack of a foresight might be a problem if you've no mounted optics.
  14. Hey, mean_marine, I had the same problem with the pin on my G&P, and it was with a G&P Box! It went in most of the way but didn't line up the other side, this was solved by taking it all apart and inserting the pin at the start, rather than the end of the build. If you've tried that, then obviously scratch this.
  15. So simple infact that you can forget the first two parts - just yank the trigger guard away from the receiver and slide the receiver forwards and away from the stock It different on a Soc maybe?
  16. Cheers, very kind of you I like it too, hehe!
  17. My latest purchase - TM M14, Cheers Evert 72 Kryloned in OD "Tactical Shortened Barrel" by Evert
  18. I do believe they're freedom art ones, available on WGC
  19. As for the stock, the M14 has the flip up shoulder pad thingy on the end of the stock, useful for firing whilst lying prone. On the other hand the SOC lacks this and has a standard flat buttpad. Correct me if I'm wrong...
  20. Clue's in the "real steel ammo can" part hehe
  21. Easier access to the bolt handle? I'd hazard a guess.
  22. Glad you like the photos enough to use them man
