  1. Well, I've seen piles of M4s... now granted they may be accessorized differently, but... still. It seems fashionable for people to have 5 M4s with different bodies, stocks, front ends, etc. I guess the same could go for the P90. I can at least imagine owning one TR and one RD. Maybe one with a LayLax RIS frontend (God forbid). Others with silencers, lasers, etc? Now in Donut's case... he is just a P90 freak.
  2. That is truly awesome. Can we get some better pics of the bottom two rifles?
  3. Another thing which bothers me about about "weathered" guns is that scuffs, marks and paint removal has been added (?, can you add something by taking something away?) to areas of the gun that do not make sense. For example, here we see wear on parts of the gun that get handled, or wear which is caused by the gun's operation. The dust cover is worn due to operation, the carry handle is worn due to being used, the forward assist and rear sight adjuster are worn, again, due to being used. The magazine is worn from being used. The same can be said for the charging handle, magazine rel
  4. The problem is you can always tell if the gun has been artifically weathered. That quite quickly takes the realism out of it... which in itself is the reason to weather a gun.
  5. Well, to be honest, you've been disappointed by Cyma... not Keith. It isn't as if he personally designed and built the hop-up, and then stuffed it all into an electric-pneumatic hybrid designed to shoot 6mm bbs.
  6. Anyone have any experience with ACM Multicam, like the kind sold on RSOV? I figured I'd ask here as multicam seems to be the "in" thing in this thread...
  7. I take it Empire Airsoft won't allow returns on Challenge Kits?
  8. Hmm, seems weird that your EoTech wouldn't fit. I've seen quite a few pictures of PTWs with those optics on them. here, for example and all over the Systema picture thread here at Arnie's. Did you ask KDogg about why your optics might not fit? I'm not saying that you don't know how to attach you own optics. That would be ludicrous. Has Systema switched how their bodies are designed or something?
  9. Oh... I can't wait for my P90 to arrive.
  10. I like it, but don't you find that having the PEQ on the inside obscures your sight picture? Not necssarily what you see through your iron sights, but just your total vision in general? Anywho, nice set-up. I like the 16" barrel (Looks 16" to me...) btw. I use the same thing, although I haven't had a chance to run it in the field.
  11. My modest contribution, and also my first Arnie's picture post!
  12. Is it me or does that AK RPK just look enormous? Or maybe appslapp isn't a big guy... I tried envisioning it even without the RPK kit on, and in those photos it still seems massive. Anyway, nice gun, appslapp. Can you give some feedback about the stock. How it feels, operates, etc? As well as pics of the gun with the stock folded?
  13. very nice set of photographs. I appreciate the comparison to other optics of various sizes. Most excellent.
  14. Teh bestz loadoutz, ov-courze! 1337 plum AK wit tacticool sidez folderz. My frustration level has clearly shot up a notch. I thought this thread was for posting pictures of your gun, not asking questions about various upgrades. Arnie's does have a section for that... Anyway, imaginary +1 to you, Yeager for your AK/Galil/sweeting looking AEG.
  15. The ICS has the fully functional charging handle that flips open the dust cover. Unfortunately, the charging handle does not have a mechanism which keeps it pulled back so you can access the hope with two hands. One hand has to be applying force to pull back the charging handle while the other hand fiddles with the adjustment dial. So, adjusting the hop in an ICS is probably just as frustrating a task as in the G&G.
  16. Ah, my mistake... I forgot about the stock adapter.
  17. Just for a note, on the full stock ICS guns (not sure about the sliding stock) the stock screw goes into the same hole as on a marui. The difference is that while the marui screw actually reaches the gearbox and spring guide, the screw on the ICS does not and actually threads into the reciver. The back end of FarEast's gun looks quite a bit different from the ICS recievers I've seen... although I can only speak about my own gun. I think the difference is probably due to the way the folding stock connects to the gun, although I could be wrong. On another note, I find it hard to belie
  18. Well, for one thing the M16 has sort of a general issue feel to it. Meaning, in the past, the M16 was the basic rifle for almost all U.S. infantry. So some people want to avoid that basic appearance. Second, the M4 has a reputation as a "special forces" type gun. In addition, it is ergonomically well taylored (though I supposed this is true for the M16), easy to mount things on and the correct size for indoor and outdoor. Not to long, not to short... just right.
  19. No doubt the VFC is a very sexy gun. This resulting disappointment on taking the gun apart is probably the result of how hyped the gun was before it even appeared. There are SCAR / HK 416 threads from years ago! To be honest, $400 for the gun, which most people admit has one of the best bodies around, is still a nice snag. Sure the internals might not be the greatest, but really who's to say? The internals might run through 50,000 rounds and never have a problem... or they might ###### out after 1,000 rounds... We'll all have to wait and see. The issue of the non-metal hop-up is ra
  20. I agree with the above... this seems rather disappointing considering the excellent externals that the gun offers. ::Runs to a corner and cries::
