    Thanks... I am actually looking to get a proper metal barrel + chamber with proper markings on...but I have no money after paying a friend to bring back a Para S14 limited slide from Hong Kong...

    FUmi: Are you sure that he checked the metal one? Maybe that is the streetprice for the plastic version.

     

    And after seeing your pictures, well, I want a Para...

     

    I haven't asked him to confirm tht but I did told him to check the full metal version....I will ask again...

     

    The only way to get the engravings off is

     

    A: If the engravings are cut in then fill it with Bondo, and re-paint it.

     

    B: If the engravings are bumped up, then sand them down with what I suggest, a Dremel tool.

    it's A...sounds like hard to do since I sort of want to keep the side polished and if i paint is silver it's probably going to look different....

    is there any kind of accesory tht covers tht position? tht would be the easiest...

    thanks everyone...

    the problem with the kjw p14 is tht the black paint it comes with is really low quality..it makes it look like a really cheap gun...but when i sanded the cr#p away and get all the internals out (will never do it again...so hard to put it back) I find tht it's actually not bad...

    so, is there no way i can cover the engravings?

     

    btw I found tht it's actually quite a rip off...cuz their price are around $103 US on the net which is around $850 HK....my friend just checked for me in HK and found tht they are actually sold at around $350 to 450HK in stores...

    My KJW para full metal have finally arrived and after a afternoon of polishing it now looks like this.....it seems like it doesnt like top gas....kick is really light with top...I will have to try green gas...also going to buy a hogue grip for it... :P

    btw does anyone know how I can somehow remove the KJW made in taiwan mark?

    Do you people never read????  :blink: It is NOT a Super 9, it the the genuine KWC Sauer 90, and is a much better build quality!!  :D

     

    I forgive you, but it is a bit like calling an ICS a TM!!!!

    no matter how much better it is than the super 9 it's still not as good as the VSR and I don't even like the VSR....

     

    get a Maruzen L96

     

    most ICS guns now are better than TM....and ICS is no where near the super 9 (as in way better)

    Nothing special. <_< ..just my sun project M16, more like a M653 actually(carbine version of the m16a1 with a pencil barrel) with a new "real steel" grip. Was only getting it cuz it was cheap, but once I installed it, it really looks and feels quite good..

    Still waiting for the atn compact reflex sight and Cavalry Arms Socom Stock(LE stock) to arrive

    Soon to have a Troy MRF forearm too.

     

    BTW: I am not tapeing the dust cover close
