Sometimes living in West Texas has its perks, like open roads with no other vehicles for miles... Side note, yes I was obviously speeding, I don't want to turn this into one of those arguments. In this case the only person I would have hurt was myself and I will only do that kind of stuff, when I'm the only one who could get hurt.

On a highway that hasn't been opened yet if it helps haha. I rarely find places to let that supercharger really scream, so a closed road was a godsend.

I'm a fan of the sunglasses idea. I sometimes have trouble seeing out my rear window that is fairly tinted at night, I'm not saying it cant be done, but I have to really divert some attention to looking more closely at whats going on. Plus I would get *badgeress* slapped by the police around here for a tinted windscreen.

Just bought this from my uncle. 99 Ford Lightning with engine mods out the wazoo. This thing hauls, and honestly scares me a bit, but I'm in love. Still cleaning her up, shes not too bad right now though.

Took a trip to Durango this past week, happened to be during "railfest". They had a photo shoot of the Eureka Locomotive, that I managed to get in on. What I was most interested in however, was the roundhouse and machine shop which is normally restricted to employees. They machine EVERYTHING in house. I thought these pictures were pretty neat, all taken with a 6-13sec exposure (other than the daytime ones) The Eureka Loco, beautiful engine, brought in from Las Vegas by truck. Professionally lit for a neat effect by the railroad. Roundhouse/Machine shop: Also a fe

Both are reasonably new -
HOLY THREAD UPDATE BATMAN! Well, new plants, new light etc. 4/16/09 The Discus are doing well and healthy, they've been being a bit aggressive with each other lately (fin nipping) so I think I may end up getting a 5th to even things out. Not the prettiest of aquariums, but I still love watching em. Algae scraping to come, on the back wall

Haha it was nothing against the sight, just severely downsizing my airsoft stuff. -
Could you be a little more descriptive? For example, what sort of settings was the flash on? besides lowest power, was it on multi or ettl? If the camera was on a 3 sec shutter I would assume multi? I would have thought the faster the shutter the better.

Figured as much, I did notice he took one with the 550ex flash, I have a 580ex II, what sort of settings would I want to use for that to get a similar photo, wouldn't be crystal clear high speed, but I'm sure I could get something....?

Trasher, feckin amazing photos! If its not to much trouble, could you describe how your photos with the muzzle flash were taken? Especially with such a long exposure with no blurring? This is something ive tried to capture, but have yet to succeed. I'm fairly new to photography, so excuse my ignorance.
