  1. No ingame piccies just yet, but the grin shows how much of a good day I had CAGE Pillars Wood, today.
  2. HALT! HAMMERZEIT. Me falling on my *albartroth* after lobbing the briefcase containing the bomb disarm codes into a safe spot. I was promptly hosed down, courtesy of the desert team at AWA Longmoor on the 16th of some month at some point this year. I cant' remember lol. Cheers to Karl Royal for the piccies.
  3. Right, just got my Ebaybanned FDE (ish) HL1. Admittedly it is intended for another loadout, however.. it appears they only fit on MICH 2000s. It does just about fit on my 2002, but wobbles quite a bit. I assume this is supposed to be the way of things? I'll be starting work on my dessie MICH 2000 soon.
  4. I can't bloody stand them. They always ride up, so for me, it's far easier to just tuck into the boots. When I'm stood up they look right, but as I'm sitting down, its all pulled.
  5. Yeah, it's the Warrior one.. it comes with a big bunch of pouches too! 3x double M4 mag pouches, 1x double adjustable pistol pouch, 1x single adjustable pistol pouch ( all MOLLE) and then a velcro single pistol mag pouch, a velcro radio/gps pouch ( both designed to stick to the velcro panel on the INSIDE of the bag) and then a single phone/radio/gps pouch on the outside, stitched on.
  6. Me @ CAGE Dover on the 31st, all credit to "Old Mick" ( see more of his pictures HERE) I used only the pistol and grab bag all day long, was great fun.. and my face lit up with joy everytime I hit someone with that pistol at AEG ranges... TM GBBs ftw.
  7. Me and mine ( Sea Devils) in Dessie Fleck, our brother team, Wraith Alpha in ACU @ Spec Ops Weekender.
  8. It's a big militaria exhibition. People come from all round the place to buy/sell stuff, mostly military kit, but anything from certain periods is fair game. There's hundreds and hundreds of reenactors all over the place, who do scheduled reenactments for the crowd. There's a lot of this sort of thing in the UK.
  9. Desert camo for a deserty site: Me @ Spec Ops Weekender.
  10. Me @ Spec Ops weekender. That FNC was lame.
  11. *grumps* Nobody said anything like that when I had my UJs on my MICH...
  12. Nilz, was it you who abseiled down the cliff and started shooting at us?
  13. Oh hot damn those MEU mags are nice. I'm not overly keen on the pistol itself ( it's just another 1911) but those little low profile bumpers are nice. I think I'll be flogging my 1911 mags and replacing them with MEU ones. Also... RacingManiac, that is unbelievably sexy.
  14. Fatal: I'm not an expert by any means, but I believe Brit infantry do a lot of long ( comparitively) foot patrols... I believe the Americans tend to be near a vehicle nearly all the time, and so don't need to have all their kit on them. All the awesomeness in this thread might just force me into a DDPM loadout. I should have bought that damn Osprey with the extras at W&P....
  15. Give me your Austrian, NOW. Please KA Mids didn't work very well at all in my AUG, however, with a bit of fiddling ( i.e, replacing the internals with MAG mid ones, and a damn good lube once in a while) they work ok.
  16. Grim: MICH 2002 has much shorter ear pieces, so you'll end up with big floppy bits at the sides. Same with 2001s. "MICH covers" actually only mean MICH 2000s.
  17. Butch women at W&P?! Are you kidding me! W&P had a higher population density of complete and utter fitties than Canterbury, a goddamn student city. The Polish woman running a camo stall was quite possibly the highlight of the bloody day! Next year I hope to coming along Mark and camping at least some of the week with him ( he has his Land Rover, which looks only vaguely like a SF/WMIKy one and gets no less than FOUR free week camping tickets!). I might even get some sort of loadout up and running for it I guess.
  18. Moody and distant ( I'm the one facing the camera, also shows the scale of that particular site, CAGE Peene [ yes, Peene]) Me being an *albartroth*... tempted to edit a mace instead of the broach
  19. The Ground Zeros fit my face perfectly, in fact I'm thinking of getting a pair of those as well, simply so I've got the choice between my now perfectly fitting ( without the foam seal) pair of Jammers. These are by no means bad. They are by all means, very good. I'm just extremely critical, as people would rather know why they SHOULDN'T buy them than why they should
  20. I put in an order with some buddies for 3x Jammers and 2x Ground Zeros. They turned up exactly one week after payment ( bearing in mind he spent 3 days away from home as well) and cost the princely sum of 187 USD. The multi buy and postage discounts are awesome, so buy in bulk if you can chaps! Anyway, I whipped out one of each eye pro and tried them on. Jammer Pros: They look cooler due to being glasses, but at the same time are full seal. They're light, and very strong. The lenses are made of 100% pure win and hardness, and don't darken your vision a vast amount. Cons: Without the big
  21. Just ordered 3 Jammers and 2 Ground Zeros from him.. damn this man works fast! I paid on Friday, he's away all weekend and Monday, but can still get them shipped by Wednesday. Very much looking forward to my Jammers. I'll add a short review to this, if that's ok?
  22. Yep, Ebaybanned MICH 2002, plus Ebaybanned Norotos. And some Olive Krylon, mainly cos the "OD" Ebaybanned claim it is is utter bawls.
  23. Hehe... If I hadn't, the helmet would have had a halo of ginger
