  1. Didn't realise there was a PTW Galil... Amazingly detailed review Corps, and damn does that SAR look good!
  2. Currently an hour behind for me.
  3. +1 to that. I want the SCAR H, but need midcaps to live.
  4. Anymore news on that would be fantastic if it turns up in the future. I actuall had a project for a spotting scope ( as I have no need/money for NV) mounted on a rhino arm... little did I know there's a replicas with 4x mag! Who made/makes them?
  5. Kit list: Red = stuff I'm getting Milspec Austrian M57 Fleckmuster BDUs ( New top in the post, and the trousers are due to have OPS Kneepads built into them) WAS RPC-7 w/ 2x BULLE Frag Pouches WAS Cargo Pack WAS Adjustable Radio Pouch Viper MOLLE belt w/ 2x BULLE M4 Singles. 1x BULLE Ambi Holster ( for my 5-7, however I'm replacing it with a LH SERPA 1911 in OD mounted onto the MOLLE) 1x BULLE Rollup dump pouch Ebaybanned MICH 2002 w/ Ebaybanned Norotos. ( OPS Core X Nape Harness) Ebaybanned Flight Gloves, however I normally use Oakley SI in Tan, but I couldn't find t
  6. Finally semi finished. Want an OPS Core X Nape thingy, and a respray to a better green, and an IR square for the top. I'm not sure about the big empty bit at the back either, but I don't wear goggles, so don't need goggle straps, so might just put a strip of velcro up it, or maybe paint my team emblem on it in appropriate colours ( rather than the blue white and silver as seen in my avatar) Also needs repainting because of the biro smudges Ebaybanned MICH 2002 and Ebaybanned Norotos Shroud.
  7. Wahey! Fitted, and it now fits perfectly flush. Anyone who buys these, you might not even need to file anything down, as the screws and threads are v good ( which was a concern for me) so yeah, woo! The hardest bit is getting the thing lined up properly to drill your holes!
  8. Lol sorry too late for that, I fixed that bit The metal bit, as you know has a curve on it, as does the plastic... They were SLIGHTLY different meaning the mount would rock along the horizontal... took the metal plate out, filed it flat, problem sorted, but like I say either the plastic shoud is curved wrong or my helmet is.. both Ebaybanned, but this means nothing! It fits perfectly flush in two places. The back, and the top.. So I'm thinking the shroud is fail. However, there's enough give that I can PUSH it flush, so I'll probs weaken the support strut and bend it into position.
  9. Started trying to mount mine now ( which is a sodding giggle, NAAAT!), and have discovered the mount does not conform properly to the shape of the helmet. This is partially due to the differences in curvature between the plastic and metal components ( way to go China! Make two parts the need to have the same curve, different!) and possibly becuase the helmet might be the wrong curvature. I suspect more the shroud is wrongly curved than the helmet though. Essentially this means in order to make the top of the mount flush with the helmet curve, I'll have to do something drastic: 1) Perhap
  10. Mine turned up today, bloody strong construction, came all pre assembled, so I reckon someone got lazy at the factory and just shoved bits in bags for you Delta. The little grey catch was slightly misaligned, but that's something you wouldn't notice unless you were trying to find fault My question for you is however, the positioning... Now fair enough, finding centre is easy, but whereabouts VERTICALLY should the mount go. On IBHs I've seen people hang a good half inch of the mount down from the lip of the helmet... Where should it go to look "proper" on a MICH? Measurements from the helme
  11. To be fair, you still haven't read his sig... someone else gave him the name. And I do disagree with the way he treats people, not just in this thread... but I just ignore it.
  12. Wasn't defending him, just answering why he's called King of Augs...
  13. Read his sig... then look at his " Project AUG" every barrel length, every reciever type, shotgun attachments, grenade launchers, all sorts. He's almost an AUG geardo I like H-Bar, don't like Phantom, but lots of people do, and each to their own
  14. Excellent Finish looks good, which is all that matters for me. I'll add my own to this when mine turns up, next week sometime.
  15. The picture worked for everyone else, as people commented on it in the thread I posted it in... and the internet is a BIG place, so how am I supposed to know they don't do hotlinking? Sure you get tired of telling people the same thing over and over again, but like I said.. it worked all and night yesterday. So here's a new one.
  16. I know I've asked this before, but a hell of a lot more of them have popped up recently... will flip up front sights ( the one that replace the regular M4 sight) be able to fit properly in the MRF-CX kits by King Arms and Deepfire? I want to be able to flip my front sight completely down, so when I get closer to finishing my project shooter, I can put an EOtech on if I want to with no interuptions.
  17. Hell fire Cortes! *hi5* NICE Marsoc!
  18. You should see HOW he built those... everytime he builds a gun, he gives proper updates, on every little piece.. and its something to see.. from some lumps of ally, wood comes those... Just beautiful. I can't wait to see what he'll do next... I also can't wait to see when he'll sell one!
  19. I picked up mine from ebay. Self adhesive velcro, black 50mm. About 4 quid posted for a metre of each side. Thanks Siygess, that's AWESOME news... I need to respray my MICH, as the "OD" ebaybanned advertise.. just isn't. So a respray and Norotos and new helmet straps in foliage green... I'm actually amazed at how little you can get a very good looking helmet for!
  20. WINNER! *fruitcage* WINNER! Takes me back to primary school that one does!
  21. AUG'ers unite! Look in the news section, there is a faint hope that JG might build three guns of our desires... AUG A3, Tavor and Sterling being the front runners at the moment. Out of those the only bits JG need to build properly is the A3 bit, compared to the complete scratch builds of the other two... so, you want an A3, let them know! Course it might turn out to be utter tosh, but hey, its worth a try!
  22. I'd quite like to be able to edit my title too, for things like clearouts where you rummage around and find bits of kit scattered to the four winds... however, would editting the title bump it, and therefore go against the No Bumps Plz rule?
  23. Hmm... if you intend on selling these ( I'll probably have one) I take it you'll supply instructions on how to fit and which EXACT part to cut down. It's very nice btw! What you going to eventually make it out of?
