  1. Because event organisers DO use pyro, either as set pieces, or for atmospherics: See just about any milsim game for details.

I've seen plenty of guys lob a bit of pyro about to make it sound cool, or to get a game moving properly, say when a fight simply turns into a range match or a "who runs out of ammo first" game.

  2. Are you serious? They are insuring the health of the participants and the public. They're not going to want people throwing film grade pyro at each other, because people will *fruitcage* die. They'll want to know the levels of sound produced or people can go deaf.

Bear in mind that even with regular pyro you can cause some fairly unpleasant burns, and I've blown hats and comms gear off people with regular ball grenades.

Pyro is probably one of the things that they're most concerned about, because they're *fruitcage* EXPLOSIVES.

  3. To completely confuse things, my CANCELLED ORDER ( bear in mind I cancelled BEFORE they took the money...) turned up today.

Them charging me after I'd cancelled it left me deep in the financial do-do, which I've managed to drag myself out of ( thank the gods for sisters with a bit of spare moolah!). It would appear( even though they sent no email at all), that the delay was due to a lack of stock: My hat was left out of the order.

They then, for some reason, perfumed my gloves :S

While I did recieve my order, I'll not use them again.

  4. I've placed two orders with this company so far, and both times have been let down by non-existent customer service.

First time, I received the order confirmation. Then NOTHING happened for TWO WEEKS. No money taken from my account, no emails. I emailed them to ask what was going on, and a week later I received an email saying one of the items was out of stock, and they weren't getting any stock for two months.

This second time, I received the order confirmation, and nothing happened for a week. No money taken, no emails. So, they can eat a *rickroll*, if they're so lazy that they don't even want to take my money.

And my end of the trade with Crazy Ape! Mine actually started off with a full SG1 stock, full RIS, shortened barrel ( the previous owner was going for a HK21E look). I flogged all that, bought a few other bits, et voila!

Still needs stock pins and some mids/lows though... oh yeah, and a battery sling or something to put a battery in!

  6. It's OD, a wee bit lighter an OD than I'm used to ( I normally use BULLE and WAS), but nothing that won't be dulled down by a few layers of dirt and mud :D

I'm happy with it overall, but the colour matching on various bits of the carrier are a bit off: The buckles are almost tan, some of the bits are a much darker OD than the rest ( mainly the edges/trim). It does appear to be very very well made however, possibly not quite as well made as the WAS I've had/have, but very good nevertheless.

My new green kit... or the start of it rather! One Flyye FAPC Gen 2. Don't worry, it's NOT THAT GREEN. Admittedly a very different green than my BULLE OD pouches, but meh.

Funky lil carrier, and fits me very well... It's as rigid as my cock when I'm watching NCIS and either Agent Todd is in the Catholic school girl outfit or Aby is talking kinky. The plates in this thing could probably stop 120mm sabot rounds. 'ARD

It's currently got 2x M4 shingles and 2x frags... so definitely not finished. I'm adding a triple M4 shingle to the front. The awesome thing about this Gen 2 design is the interior pouch ( as seen in the pics above). I can use it as an admin pouch, OR, if so fancy, I can buy pouches that fit inside that space. Tempted to pick up a couple just for cool factor. Amusingly, you can fit more mags in there WITHOUT the pouches...

Because I like to have a belt rig also, I'm getting a custom made OD battlebelt made up, on which will go my radio, dumper, a triple shingle and pistol mag pouches. In the mean time, I'll use my old belt rig :)

Beaten up old piece of ######: Bought it as a junker, sold most of the parts, bought some RS G3A3 furniture, couln't be arsed to put the stock on... so, this is going to be my loaner or Fallout shooter :) Gonna make a singe point battery sling.

Oh, the M4 flash hider isn't attached properly just yet, but it will be :)
