It's not much, but it didn't stop raining all day. My desert boots ( BAD CHOICE) didn't stay desert for long. The only bit that did was under my jeans! My HPC is also a much darker brown than coyote now!

Not really a3... the gun itself hasn't changed, just accessories. The ACOG's are starting to crop up, as are the rails in active service. It's the future! However yeah, gripod is naaaasty.

Putting an OPS Core kit into a PASGT requires drilling some holes. Up to you whether you put the pads in, but I'd say it's a good idea. Way more comfortable than the PASGT one. Talking of which, my OPS Core in Left eye dominant is now en route, since my crappy cheap chinese strap gave way ( or rather, the screw undid itself during a night game, so that's that buggered!) Comfortable helmet that can't move ftw

Cos they are lols. Is it just me, or is Desert auscam completely pointless, since regular auscam is quite blatantly fine?

Would you not absolutely freeze your tits off wearing a shirt like that and then jumping out of a plane? Now I've got my HPC, I am quite tempted to do a PJ loadout for something like War and Peace.

That sort of thing ( the hole from which to shoot from) looks like it'd only be useful if you know where the threat is coming from, and narrows your field of view considerably. Darkchild probably has a clue about this sort of stuff as well Only places I've seen pictures/videos of people sniping from in Iraq/A'stan is on top of buildings or inside the buildings, out of windows whatnot, but that's normally in particullarly vicious firefights where the sniper is firing at targets which are most definetely shooting back.

For some reason, that loadout is AWESOME. I normally hate ACU, but that looks the nuts, and I love the placement of the PEQ

WIP EBB HPC (ACRONYM ATTACK!) Still need sexy cyalumes, and a radio pouch. Pistol stuff is going on my belt when I get it. EBB HPC 4x WAS Dual M4 Mag Pouches 1x WAS Flashlight pouch 1x Medium Utility pouch ( gonna be a first aid pouch once I get my kit) 2x WAS Frags The MOLLE webbing colour is pretty freaking off in natural light, but otherwise, it looks good Not gonna bother with plates, it hugs my body pretty damn well already.

Seconded. It's amazing how America has managed to somehow popularize an attack. I've been thinking for some time about a tattoo of a Spartan ( Halo one ) helmet on an assault rifle dug into the sand, I'm SURE I've seen the artwork before, but I can't bloody find it for love nor money now...
