  1. I usually tape a piece of sandpaper around 400 grit on table, put slide on top and slide against a ruler, apply pressure and slide slowly & smoothly, after few times each side I buff the finish with some sort of polish, finally oil the surface with an old towel ( soaked with oil from other guns ) I always do this to my 1911/2011 ABS slides.
  2. That may leaves you only "proper" military brands/products, which made with fabric treated to absorb IR or printed as part of camo.
  3. Wow, didn't think of a color scheme like this in a non-sci-fi game
  4. I can tell just by the looks, that you shouldn't shoot people with that thing but hey I wanna try some on random objects <3 <3 <3
  5. Very cool, love the stock, IIRC each port holds 2 rounds right? And wait..... are those blue thingy in white shells..... slugs?
  6. This thing, the tank I usually see mounts the charger in-line, allowing the whole thing standing on its own during charge.
  7. Yep, something like that.
  8. M1100 is for cool factor I know they're less than ideal for reliability. The majority of shooters in the class/division I played, use APS CAM870, seemed more reliable than when it came out (still need some mods to be reliable of coz) . As a side note, most serious cam870 shooters don't use the dual 12g bulb charger, instead they use an adapter to mount a bigger tank, which is from aquarium store for feeding co2 to water plants, for more consistent charges and lower cost for sustained usage.
  9. Inertia from operating the gun, plus the weight of the valve itself, causing enough momentum to release the gas. Dropping a "hot" shell on the ground also fires. My workaround was purple shells exclusively, co2 powered for stronger valve resistance, interestingly due to the design of the purple shells (madbull clone) much lighter hammer/sear springs have enough strength to fire. Allowing me to cock the gun more smoothly. Btw CO2 on purple shells has its own problem, I decided not to use co2 on practice sessions. 16kg "red" gas seems a happy compromise.
  10. Thx bro, as a shooter I consider modding things is part of the fun. For the mind part, some say be adept with both the pen and the sword, also applies. BTW, if such a gun exists I would happily trade my kidney for that for now I can settle with M1100 if I can find one.
  11. Airsoft 3Gunning (is that a word?) became more popular in HK, but seems no suitable/reliable enough shotgun platform to use on when it started. On 5th July there was a match, when I signed up around June I didn't even have a shotgun, which described by match rule, a shotgun-ish airsoft gun able to show chamber, where BBs enter the barrel, leaving me only a few choices. For romance I would jump for Maruzen M1100, semi-auto, long mag tube, hell yeah! But no gun, no parts, no supplies, no-go . For supply-wise one should go APS CAM870, lots of factory parts, including extra long mag tubes, m
  12. Ah, almost forgot, the molded "stippling" pattern in fact extrudes a little bit, when it was on my hand I can feel it begging to be treated with real stippling.
  13. Tried one, shoots just like another SA Glock. "Lighter" slide seems have effect of faster cycling, could be placebo effect but another SA G34's cycling does feel sluggish to me. BTW, the trigger has some weird position / shape, maybe just the gold safety part, it seems too curved or too forward when in cocked position.
  14. More than "awesome" when "molest" and "join" are in the same sentence Okay, enough joking, those kits are great but there are few things to consider: ~Different contact points of moving parts compared to "normal" 2011 style kits, think about a reduced size Desert Eagle. Not necessarily bad but still a thing to consider about installation / fitting / maintenance....... more about maintenance, the slide frame fit of the kit feels fine. ~Very small bore outer barrel to simulate .22 caliber, heard one (just one) out there keep hitting the hole but later found the issue is caused by inner b
  15. Walked by a shop and saw the shopkeeper molesting one of those kits, I then joined, thanked him and leave the shop with a smile on my face. Will probably get one when I break all my ABS slides.
  16. The "sirloin pad" idea is amazing, so much comfort and great ventilation, and super low cost ( compared to FS strandhögg ) is a big plus.
  17. dat grip...... I'm also envying, not the gun but the craftsmanship and the patience of the guys behind Suzutomo and OCT. Very nice gun indeed <3
  18. Try zeroing the offset sight separately in "desired" distance, confirm with paper targets at zeroed distance AND ± few meters to see how much to hold over/right ( for right handed shooter ). BTW, think about how to utilize the set up when in close range and cover is on your strong/right side, mind blown
  19. I say keep it this way for now, as you play with it the finish worn out, this is when you paint it and you will feel "new" again
  20. I got mine few years ago, this bag and few other phone / compact camera pouches were exclusive to the retail store.
