AKS74U, its a solid performer. One could say, its the only AEG you`ll ever need
-
Not only bodies, but the complete gun? Should be atleast aksu74u, akms and akm which are lct.
-
The aeg-ak basic structure is simple and working since maruis plastic versions, so basically the g&g is ok, but isnt as good or refined as vfc, lct, e&l or cyma steel versions.
-
A realistic takedown isnt a necessary thing I would compare between AS aks, and I dont think there is a big difference between lct and e&l what comes to takedown nor externals. Buy a gun that suits your needs, practicality is a good thing, so I suggest a short barreled gun with folding stock and polymer parts.
-
Aks74u is the best choice e&l's are easier to get

Hiaw, here is the pic for AK & paracord 101: Simple and it works well
-
Remember to make a "climber's knot" with double cord, so it wont open so easily.
-
Lct vss, pretty well camoflaged at close range.
-
Paracord is the solution for both.
-
The polymer stock is more comfortable than the metal one, of course. If you wont change the stock, then get the polymer one instead of the metal stock.
-
If you talk about the original skeleton stock on a 105, then its fine!

Testin` out the LCT VSS:

LCT AKSU, hand polished: No need for sand paper to make an AK look even better.

Sorry for the bad quality pics, but I just wanted to share this for those atleast who own a steel CYMA AK. I got myself a steel version, but wasnt too happy about the surface quality on the body. I recently acquired Autosol "Chrome polish" agent for metal surface. It gave the gun a nice and glassy like surface effect, almost like LCT quality, but in black! See for yourself: The gun has LCT top cover, rear stock and upper hand guard. Otherwise its stock. The pics wont justify how good it looks.

Hi, yes it is. The folding ability is quite useless, and the hinge on left side touches my nose, but with time I`m used to avoid it. The downward angle isnt a big problem, I can still see through the iron sights, perhaps not without the MOE cheek raiser. If you use a red dot, better get a low profile mount for it (as I have for my AP). Its a CYMA ultimak, it`s cheap and works well! I have the same in my RPK too. No need to pay extra for LCT`s own, if they make one.

LCT AK105

Had some trouble with the durability on the LCT RPK wooden stock (it disintregrated itself after some proper use). So, I ordered a stock for the LCT RPKS, which is a foldable stock. It`s not a pretty sight, but it is sturdy and does what it does!

The VFC is yes pinned, it is a bit heavier than the LCTs, might be that the body is slightly thicker. The older LCTs dont have pins. The VFC eats modded RS mags, which have the metal lip coming up. These mags wont fit in LCTs, the inside of the magwell has a different shape. Both work with MAG/TM magazines. The LCT AKMS had some problems earlier with the barrel coming off (it is attached by 2 small screws), but by making a small dents on the opposing side, the screws went deeper in and the problem vanished. The painted LCT AK105 is the NV (new version) which has pins in the gas block and front

Family pic. Top 3 are LCT, bottom one VFC.

Here is my G&G EBR, used to be the long version but luckily I found a cheap short barrel. Had to put a small silencer in front to cover the inner barrel, looks pretty neat to me. The scope is attached with an aimpoint mount which is easy to attach, stays in place and is correctly lined with the barrel, some of the M14 scope mounts are horrible. The colors seem light in the picture, but without the flash the coloring is pretty dark.

G&P MRP Long

Yeah I modded a rs slab side mag to it. Took quite some time with a saw and a file.

LCT RPK, WIP.

I use an aimpont mount reversed so the scope attaches to the big rail in the front and lines up well!
