  1. @ BSMars: may I suggest tucking in your BDU shirt and maybe using a belt? IMHO-loose shirt might get snagged on stuff, you wouldn't want your beautiful shirt ruined that way, or get killed in CQB because of snaggage issues. It also earns you moar HSLD points, lol. By the way, I hope you're running a secondary (pistol sidearm) in there somewhere on your KISS set-up, you never know if your primary will go down and you'd need to grab a secondary. For our situation, it won't be too likely-but its a good way to train. (Then again you can chuck your 416 or your helmet at the tangos and run away-lol!
  2. @ Raito: your buddy, at the front-kneeling, far right. I hope he's US Army 2nd ID, just saying. @ GS: good job, keep it up and post up more pics later. And regarding your need for a pouch for your comms, Pantac makes a small MOLLE pouch. IMHO, you can put that radio at the front, rear, anwhere in any pouch as long as its not in the way of your movement. Another option: small radio pouch from EBB, good price: http://www.ebairsoft.com/cordura-molle-sho...uch-p-2481.html Pantac small pouch: http://cgi.ebay.com/Pantac-Small-MOLLE-Acc...=item27acd2c23d
  3. Nice. I haven't seen too much public pics of the Mayflower rig on current A-stan ops. Normally its just the EI PC with cumberbund, or other cookie-cutter rigs. Also note the H&K 416 or upper and BLOCK 2 accesories! (ftw) @ SH: I see you know of the GI Joe's (real version)
  4. Thanks for the info guise. Knowing is half the battle.
  5. Thanks for the warning. Wha happened to yours or a friends? Did it crumble apart?
  6. That's what I used, that blue 3M painter's tape stuff. Mask the areas you don't want paint on. I used Tamiya aircraft spray in dark earth and tan. Lay a light tan base coat then dust with dark earth to get the shade you want. You can spray certain areas more if you want that desert camo look. I like how Tamiya paints stick good and its texture. Some people use Krylon or Rustoleums camo line. I painted a black replica 553 that I have.
  7. No prob man. I meant replica "ear protection/comms" like the EBB Comtac 2: http://www.ebairsoft.com/element-comtac-he...lug-p-2604.html We have a lot of real SF pics where the ops with tan baseball caps have some sort of ear pro comms. As for the holster, EBB has a tan replica Safariland 6004 if you have an M9 Beretta: http://www.ebairsoft.com/tactical-holster-...tta-p-2413.html They also have a replica Blackhawk leg mounted CQC holster for an M9: http://www.ebairsoft.com/holster-plateform...tta-p-1942.html And if you want to mount the CQC holster on some MOLLE gear, adapter: htt
  8. Big head = big brains? Lol. May I suggest dusting your golden EOTech 552 tan like M4? Some replica ear pro/coms, ie: Comtac 2 (you might already have some) would go great with that cap. And how about dusting your black holster tan? Finally, you may want to lose the skull mask and Jolly Roger/pirate patch if you're going for a US SF theme. Those are more common with US Navy SEAL set-ups.
  9. Yup, great pic and M4 MRE.
  10. @ SgtKinnaird: where'd your M1911 go? I only see its retention lanyard. I know you're kind of doing a set-up like the pic shown. But may I suggest replacing your gear with either all MJK (tan/khaki), RG or spraying the black gear tan and spraying your MICH helmet too. I know back in the days a lot of "their" gear was black. But tan would help your gear blend in with your BDU's and your AO (environment). MJK colored gear is also pretty versatile because you can also use it with Multiscam, digital desert/woodland BDU's.
  11. Oh wait, I thought I was in the Navy SEAL thread-LOL! It's all good, at least everyone is being civil and respectful. @ LS: may I suggest a tan (coyote brown) SPEAR fleece jacket instead of the black one with your WIP set-up?
  12. @ 08kecarv: that's the King Arms SR-15E3 with the 16" barrel and 10.3" (midlength) URX II right? @ Fiddle: I'm pretty sure you can use those quick-detach sling loops on the receiver of the VFC KAC-PDW. It'd be fail for them if it was just for looks-lol! To all-somethings tripping me out-for some reason when I compare/look at this pic~the 16" rifle with the 12.3" rifle-length URX II (bottom) looks longer than the same rifle but with the 10.3" (top). It maybe just because of the longer rail (Sorry for photo-chopping your pic 08kecarv)
  13. Hey you, play nice now-lol! By the way, anyone have any updates to the replica Elcan Specter DR scope? Is it already for sale/where? I couldn't find the posting in the news section. Seen a lof of US SOF pics of it in use.
  14. Thanks Mr. Naggy-Nagster... lol!
  15. What he said. Quoted for truth. @ 08kecarv: I don't have that particular one, but they do look a lot alike. They'll both work just the same.
  16. Lol-sorry, the other one is for use on an SBR. Here's one, $14.50 with free shipping from EBB: http://www.ebairsoft.com/0209-knights-type...der-p-1167.html
  17. Blue GB~I think that's just the lighting in the garage, it doesn't look that way in natural lighting. TTP~did you mean triple-tap brake/flash hider? I have a couple, that one came with the EBB dimpled barrel (its 2-piece and the "timing" on the hider itself is adjustable)
  18. What I've been working on-almost finished. (I've seen a lot of 14.5" or 16" barrelled SR's running the mid-length Knights URX II rails but not one with the 12" rifle length rail. I wanted to update my 16" Knights Recon rifle and run the full-length rail to be different. I just need a couple of more things coming in to complete this update. No one makes a replica KAC URX II rifle-length rail yet, except for the one on the ARES M110. There are only 7" and 10" replica URX II's out there. JG came out with a very basic full-length URX II rail. No trades on it and the details aren't too accurate but
  19. The 2 covers on each side of the stock bottom were just removed so it looks that way. It's a little easier to adjust the length-of-pull on that stock when its set up that way.
  20. Lol! It's all good-were just messing with you.
  21. Reminds me of that one Op in those older A-stan SF pics; tanned, sunglasses, rolled up t-shirt. Y'all know who I'm talking about.
  22. Ya, but the TD grips are shaped in a certain way where your fingers tend to wrap around better on the side that bulges up (removable panel side for the long ones).
  23. U.S. Army SF in A-Stan, photo by Spc. Gino Palu (US Army). Pic from mp.net also. Zomg-M4 Block 2 CQBR upper and Multicam! (j/k-lolz)
