That's a good idea, what type and size of screw did you use ? I may try the screw option if I can't figure out a way of re-setting the rivet. Yesterday I produced some drawings of rivet jaws to fit 24" bolt cutters, as used by DIY AK builders in the USA. The plan is to make the jaws from mild steel (probably won't last long) and fit them to a cheap pair of bolt cutters. The screw idea is simpler and less hassle though.

That's certainly an option but I am having trouble finding the tooling to set the semi tubular rivets in the UK.

At long last I've finished my Well G74A build (sorry for the poor photo, taken with a mobile phone), the parts fitted are:- 1. 5KU AK to M4 Adaptor fitted with Nuprol AXE stock - hinge pin hole had to be drilled out to 4.76 (3/16") because the Well hinge pin is 4.67mm dia. Also stuck a small piece of flat rubber sheet (0.7MM thk) to the rear trunnion to take up play in the stock adaptor when locked in position. 2. Command Arms G47 grip - Fixing hole in the grip had to be enlarged to allow it to fit over the threaded spigot on the receiver, material removed from the front of the grip

You've done a good job fitting the grip, I may forget the CAA one I have & get the Magpul version. The other issue with the CAA grip is the fact that it is narrower where it meets the receiver so the cut out for the original grip location lugs is exposed. Also the recoil buffer block pokes out the bottom of the receiver by approximately 1mm, so that will need modifying to allow the grip to sit flush.

Good idea to put some metal rods in, I may try that out on mine.

I think the Well G74 is different to the WE, I tried fitting a CAA pistol grip but it needs some work to make it fit. The trigger guard is to wide, the hole for the fixing bolt is to small to allow the grip to slide over the grip nut/spiggot, the spiggot is to long so a spacer is needed between the head of the fixing bolt and the grip. Also the Well's fixing bolt is M5 the CAA grip comes with an M6 bolt.

I noticed that you have a Magpul MOE pistol grip fitted, did that need fitting or was it a drop in fit ?

I think that is what I'll have to do.

When I tried fitting the b11 to the G74A the front gets pushed up by the lower hand guard cap. This results in the upper hand guard not fitting, I'll see if a different manufacturers end cap is bigger, otherwise material will need removing from the b11.

Looks good, did the b11 rail drop right in or did you have mod it or the AK ? I have the hand guard but it doesn't line up properly on my Well G74A.

Has anyone fitted a Zenitco b11 railed lower handguard to the WE AK74 UN or the Well G74A ?

Just checked my paypal account & ACMgear have refunded my money (I did tell them in my last email that I would contact paypal again). ACMgear still haven't sent me a message telling me the money was refunded, in fact they haven't communicated with me in any way at all. Don't think I'll shop with them again.

I've bought from them before & received the order with no problems, however I placed an order for a pistol grip on 26th June but heard nothing from them at all. I contacted them via their ticket system 2 weeks ago but have had no replies, last week I started a paypal dispute with them & yesterday paypal sent me message saying the case was closed because a tracking number has been supplied. Unfortunately the tracking number indicates that the destination for my order is South Africa not the UK. I have contacted ACMgear today asking what is going on, but i don't expect a reply, I suspect

I filed the rail down so that the Star Susat sight and Star weaver adaptor rail would fit, now I have to shim out the carry handle if I want to fit it.
