its the standard 82/30 in the box , which i think is good . don"t see the point of hi-caps in TM EBB , bolt lock and mag changes are the whole point !

In a word yes ! Ordered two sopmod/socom hop units from them on a Sunday night arrived Thursday morning , normal delivery NOT special delivery . P.S. I'm the bears mate with the standard lenth Scar and yes it is the best gun I've ever owned ! .

They use a custom stock tube made just for the UBR stock , plus they split the under side of the stocks own tube to get it to fit . There's more detailed photos out there on the net some were ( saw them ages ago , think it was a French airsoft site ) .

Won't work mate i tried and it wont fit , the stock tubes are different diameters (the socom is wider )

Glad you like them , I do ! The barrel is a Dytec 16inch plus another inch with the flash hider . The inner is a tight bore that runs to the end of the flash hider .

thought you mite like to see my "spair" uppers , here"s what ive done . first i have a CQB fitted , and a full lenth M4 with a CASV plus a MOD stock to change the look ; then i also have a DMR "type" upper for when i fancy changing my game play in woodland (ergo cant be a**ed to run around any more ) the DMR i can"t take credit for (apart from the rail covers and folding foregrip) i bought it from another forum but i did build the other two my self . The DMR also has a padded bag that it lives in that i can take on to the game field with me so i can change in game if i wan"t too (i m

Hmmm , if you'd said a nimh batt I'd have said there's your fault for definite ( that was my fault , and was cured by changing to a 2200mah 20c lipo ) so could 'possibly' be the 15c isn't delivering enuf ? Hopefully changing to a 20c will solve it for you .

Plus 1 on the faults probably caused by the battery (had the same problem ) , what Batt you running in it ?

Does it really need more recoil that much ? Have to say mines got a very nice 'snap' to it as is . Can't help thinking if your going to want more recoil in it I'd say "go gas" and swing towards the WE Scars , it's easy enuf sticking the replacement recoil engine in the Sopmod/Socom's but when your start talking about basically completely re-building the internals of the Scar I think is there really that much point ? The TM is such a sweet gun as is . Just my two penneth worth . :-)

Really nice impression Jafar , think only thing I'd ad would be some gloves (I found the sand got in-between your hands and what ever and rubbed like hell by the end of the day on OP's ) . Looking realy good mate .

let me think ; buy a Scar or a PTW , Senario 1 ; spend the day scurmishing with big grin on face . get home , clean said Scar put said Scar away till next scurmish . OR Senario 2 ; buy PTW spend day scurmishing and worrying is it going to make it to the end of the day ? Get home , attempt to fix whats gone wrong with said PTW (and we all know it will happen) ? i know wich way i"d be leaning

No sweat matey , you can only go on what your told if you think the source is reliable . I wore mixed my self back in the dim and distant past ;-) .

I know we don't have kit thrown at us , but mixed and matched is due to it worked well NOT we didn't have enuff kit .

I was in exactly the same situation mate , I had an A&K Masada never ever let me down absolutely loved it , but once I started using EBBs I found my 'ordinary' AEGs were just leave me feeling flat (the real AEG killer for me is the mag lock when you've fired the last BB) and after some hard thinking decided to let the Masada go as it was just not getting used and probably not going to be used again so I reluctantly sold it so it would be used , waste of a good gun other wise . Put the money towards my Scar and I'm really glad i did , awesome doesn't cover how good the Scar is ! Love it . S
