I just wanted to let you guys know it is possible. I still need to fabricate a recoil buffer like the one on the WE stock, but I did get it to fit.

Aye, its a WE. Like I said, not bad for the price. Marui compatible. And I am working on getting it engraved.

Might as well put this here. The grips were a pain in the *albatross* to fit, but its a pretty nice shooting gun for the price.

Bond's new gun: PPK/s with palm print grips. Anyone want to try their hand at making the grips?

Nice. They must have recently started doing that. I have an old kj slide and its all one piece.

How did you change the front sight on the kjw slide? I thought the front sight was built into the slide on those.

I like the way one of my Bond production books put it. When Bond needs something easy to conceal in a suit, he uses the PPK. When concealment doesn't matter, he uses the P99. And it makes since when you think about it. In Quantum of Solace, Bond was on the move quite a bit and always had the PPK on him until he lost it after he jumped out of the plane. In Casino Royale, the few times he had the P99 on him, he was wearing more casual clothing, and the rest of the movie it was either in the DBS glove box, or in a parcel envelope at the hotel front desk.

Pretty sure that's a P99. Look at the trigger guard and the shape of the slide. I'll admit its not the best shot, but its capture from the teaser. I guess he will be using both, like he did in Casino Royale.
