  1. Update: Found some spare time tonight to break the glue holding the flash hider on the CA SR25K. Immediately afterwards, I attempted to fit the A&K suppressor on the CA gas block. Everything seems to line up and fit EXCEPT the posts on the A&K suppressor do not seem to match up with the channels on the CA gas block. So it seems that if you want a QD suppressor on the SR-25K, you need the CA brand one.
  2. A&K SR-25 vs CA SR-25K Table of Contents Introduction Externals Internals (Overview) Intangibles Final Thoughts Introduction I've owned an A&K SR25 full size for a few months now, and in a fit of weakness, insanity, or awesomeness, purchased a CA SR25K brand new from ASGI last week. It arrived tonight, and I decided I should do a comparison between the two, to aid future buyers and because frankly, I'm bored. I won't go too terribly in depth with this review, as I don't feel like cracking open any gearboxes. However, I'll try to provide the best i
  3. I wonder what the odds of Western Arms (or, some clone, let's be realistic) making 20-round style magazines for the gun are...I don't see them being viable just due to lack of space overall, but would be nice to see some mags to go with the Inokatsu kits.
  4. Hmmm, I'll sell you it back. $150 shipped. Haha, it's a good gun, has served me well man.
  5. I'm not a fan of the grips, but otherwise looks good.
  6. It's a beaut man. If I had $400-someodd laying around, I'd buy it for sure. Maybe in the future I'll modify my KJW to look like that.
  7. Haha, I was wondering if/when you would notice that picture, haha. Ever since I replaced that part it's been a workhorse! No issues, works great, mags are awesome. Thanks again man, definitely my go-to sidearm now.
  8. Oh, nifty. Thanks for the link pope. Hopefully nothing goes wrong with my KJW P226 and I'll never need the knowledge presented by amateurstuntman, but it's good to know nonetheless.
  9. Nice looking P226 man. Question for you though, what exactly is the "custom disassembly lever detente ramp"? Never heard of one of those before. Nice job getting the night sights on there as well.
  10. As I recall, the M9 was developed before the P226. Apparently KJW fixed most of the issues that they had with their M9. Or that's how it appears to me anyways, as I have yet to have any problems occur with the P226.
  11. The only problem I've had is when I got the gun, the part that hits the valve on the magazine to release the gas was broken. I had to order that from DenTrin, so I got the Marui version and haven't had a problem since. The only other problem is one that I've heard affects all Sig P226's (although I may have received incorrect information on this). Apparently buying the G&P Reinforced Loading Nozzle is recommended as it commonly breaks.
  12. Stock KJW P226 with full trademarks (minus the grips of course). Eventually I'll buy some plastic grips that say the correct things, since I didn't like the hogue grip on the gun.
