I am sorry as you say I have misread your statement . I did hear that the aluminium bolt was moving too quickly for some and causing all sorts of issues, never known the standard bolt to be moving that quickly though. Being in the UK and having only cold weather at the moment I am probably no longer qualified to pass any comment. That being said I can't even read posts correctly anyway

Although I didn't have any broken parts both my mags were locking on rack but were inconsistent when firing. I did some work and detailed my personal mod a while back. This did fix the locking issue for me. This doesn't cover all of the issues you have mentioned but might be worth considering. Low gas pressure due to temperature or near empty mags has always caused the bolt stop action to fail (as would be expected). I took the M4 out for a very short test during an event this weekend. Unfortunately the charging handle that has so far defied the norm during testing broke after 30 rounds or so The few shots I managed to get off demonstrated the need for a better hop and CO2 mags for cold weather. WETTI, when are your improved charging handles going to be available as parts, my gun is now sat on the shelf? On another note everyone who got their hands on the rifle drooled and then had a very large smile when the recoil hit.

Well I finally managed to get hold of a RS MOE hand guard (which does look and feel fantastic). However it seems a bit loose and I am not too sure exactly what I can do to tighten things up. Can anyone who has tried one of these give me some feedback on their fit please? is this slack normal on the WE/RS?

I did some outdoor tests yesterday too, not too sure of the exact temperature though (between 4>6 degrees c). I had similar results after a few mag refills. The first mags were fine but everything was warmer then obviously. The aluminium bolt carrier may help in this situation as the rifle was still producing the required fps (350>370). That being said I heard that the aluminium bolt carrier has caused some issues under warm operating conditions due to it being too quick. No, I really do mean 0.28g but something suitable for 0.20g would also be fine. They are brown as well so you don't see the little stingers coming

WETTI, I have held off buying additional mags to wait for your CO2 mags to arrive. I also need my magazines to operate at around 350/370 FPS using 0.28g. Please could you confirm if this configuration will be available/possible? Will a user be able to change these 'factory-preset' power configurations? How would one do this? Can the power be 'dialled' in on the field? Thanks in advance.

I ordered my original M4 from AB and the service at that time was fantastic. However, I placed an order at the beginning of February for some parts and after several emails I have had no response. I have unfortunately been forced to raise a dispute but I really don't want to escalate this to a claim. I too have an outstanding parts order with AB from the 5th February (don't really need them now as the orginal parts have not failed... touch wood). I have not received any tracking details yet and I have no idea where it currently is (I would assume it should have arrived by now). Just a quick update: My Xcortech X3200 finally arrived so I just ran my version 2 AFC from William at airsoftbuddy through the chrono: G&G 0.28g on semi at around 19 degrees c using Abbey Predator Ultra Gas registered between 355 (first shot) and 360>372fps I now also have a serious headache after spending the last week trying to source RS Magpul MOE hand guard and the RS CTR mil-spec stock. I am pretty sure the gas mags would be damn cold after hanging out of the heli window. Here is my checklist: Sort any leaky mags out Gas Leak > Magazine Fix any non working bolt stop switches on the mags (I will take some piccies for my issues if that might help) Field strip the rifle Basic Takedown Remove the factory "drool", I certainly had plenty and it does affect how the rifle performs in my opinion Smooth the entrance to #112 so it feels smooth to touch (1500 > 2000 grit wet sandpaper), I managed in situ but better to remove Lubricate as per the Wiki maintenance instructions Basic Mainten
