I've only ever seen one painted L85 in Defence magazine or something and thought it looked pretty cool.
Looks a bit odd how you did it though. Doesn't look like paint or all over ...
Nice loadout anyway.
EDIT: eel one [COE] - What sight is on that L85? ACOG?

To be perfectly honest, outside of the pistol range I have seen an issued sidearm only once, and that was one of the guys on the gate passing me as I went into the armoury.

That and vaseline before you put it on. Makes it wipe off dead easy with baby wipes afterwards.

Funny, I can only just live with the light grey TR.
Just doesn't work in anything but black, in my opinion.
Those paint jobs are impressive though.

Have fun anyway. Did my CIC in the height of winter with rain and wind so bad it hurt and was hard to move sometimes and so cold one guy got frostbite on his penis.

How do you find the A2 carbine? Never seen one in real life or airsoft so haven't had a chance to hold it or shoot it.
I think it looks quite cool though.

The box mag capacity is massive.
Plus, whenever I have used a SAW or seen it used effectively it has always put down a massive weight of fire that stopped an advance/kept the enemies heads down.

One of my favourite phrases, just below 'hurry up and wait' is to do with 'not-allowed-boots' ...
EDIT: DazJW - I don't know how you'll find the vest but the buckles on the mag pouches do my nut in so I'd suggest attaching some velcro where the cover and the pouch meet.

I actually find the issue assult vests 'dump pockets' harder to get to easily and quickly than the pockets I mentioned. Saves room for maps and other bits aswell.
I use both belt order and an assault vest dependant on whether I'm going to be mainly patrolling and sitting on stag or spending most of my time in vehicles or FIBUA.
Either way, both the vest and pockets can be used.

Or if you have a combat jacket that has the two vertical opening pockets at the chest they are friggin huge and are more than usable to drop mags into. Handy place aswell.

Yeh, I've only ever seen resi-pouches seperate and beneath ammo pouches on the left leg.
If it works for you or you use it as a dump pouch though then why the hell not.
