  1. Yeah my .PDF reader couldn't open it - Try Image Preview. Ben.
  2. Well how do you know it's WETTI? Is it labelled so? Ben.
  3. How can you tell if your receiver is anodised, rather than painted? I'm pretty sure mine is, because it's the M16A3, so I think it's anodised, and C02 ready. Ben.
  4. So what's the difference between a normal WE M4, and a WETTI M4, if any? Or is it just different versions, etc? Ben.
  5. Maybe, but it still stands - unless you got any proof, this is likely a counterfeit, which is just wrong. I wonder how it'll stand up over time? Ben.
  6. How could you do that to such a gorgeous rifle?! Ben.
  7. Why would TM sell casting moulds to a Chinese company they know is going to clone them? I doubt that's what has happened. I 'spose they gave Tercel permission to photocopy the manual, as well? Ben.
  8. I don't know. What do you think the quality of the metal is like? How well do you think this will hold up? It looks fairly ok, to be honest. The trades look so wrong. I prefer the whited trades to this! Ben.
  9. No, I just have standards All my gear (I.E. my vests, pouches, etc.) is ACM. Some of my optics are ACM. I have a Kalash AKS74U. It just has to work properly for me to like it. Dislike the fact they copied the Marui trades - obviously no original thought in the product at all, but for the price, it's expected, I suppose. You didn't answer about the outer barrel? Ben.
  10. What are you talking about?! Those trades make me want to scrape my eyes out. A question; on the outer barrel, is that rust, or orange paint you've tried to get off? Are you going to update on performance/skirmish testing? Ben.
  11. DMR Loadout; Ghille; Sorry about the watermark! Ben.
  12. Great pics A.J., and very informative write-up! Ben.
  13. Out of interest, really, but mainly because I was writing essays at the time. Ben.
  14. "Hey! Someone take a picture of my George Dubya impression!" Ben.
  15. The HOP is quite weird. It looks vaugely similar to an M4/Version 2 HOP unit, but it doesn't work the same way. Ben. EDIT:: It almost looks like a Tanaka HOP. There is a threaded cog which winds down, and, I assume, applies the pressure to the bucking. Connected to this is a cog mounted vertically, which you turn to adjust the system.
  16. Do it! I'll be rootin' for ya, A.J.! Make sure you take sexy pictures of it. The more graphic, the better Ben.
  17. The scare factor on the opposition makes up for the lack of consistency 'Only' 3 mags?! I've skirmished mine twice with just 1.... But I am using it as a DMR, I guess. Ben. EDIT:: Forgot to mention - having the only rifle on the field with a working forward assist is fun. Now, when anything's wrong, all I hear is 'USE THE FORWARD ASSIST!!!'
  18. I didn't get one. I didn't have a manual, either. Ben.
  19. I do agree that you should review it stock. Had a chance to have a feel of one of these yesterday. Gorgeous. If you think it looks good in the pics, just wait 'til you see a real one. The wood looks better than some guitars I've seen. It looks like a curled, flamed maple. It's really sexy. The body has the Chinese-style finish, obviously, versus the Russian-style. I prefer the Russian, but meh, that's a small detail. The iron sights are really nice. I usually ignore airsoft irons, but these are very functional, and work really well. It's heavy, though. Very heavy.
  20. Trooper X - Glad you finally got your WE M16A3!! I love mine Ben.
  21. Hey guys! Took my stock WE M16A3 out skirmishing with me today. I was initially using Blaster 0.25g's, and as you recall from my last posts, my gun wasn't applying HOP at the last skirmish. I decided it just needed bedding in - the whole thing seemed to be drenched in grease internally, and bathed in silicone oil in the HOP, I imagine. Much better this time. It was overhopping most shots, but played up until lunchtime with it, to try and further bed the bucking in. Got some nice one-shot kills from a fair range (with a 20 metre M.E.D. remember) This seemed to work, but
  22. It's great. The HOP needs to be worn in. I'm skirmishing mine tomorrow (later today!), so I can let you know more. It is consistent to about 20 FPS +/-, and the tightbore is a nice touch. Ben.
