Took my M16A3 to a skirmish today. It's very impressive in the field. Having a little problem with the 'Enhanced HOP'. My rifle only has a 40 metre effective range on green gas - after that, the BB's just plough into the floor. Apart from that, smashing gun. Had people drooling all day. Ben.

I think you'll find Redwolf say that on all their gas primary pages (or most of them, anyway). Mine is pretty damn powerful Ben.

Hey guys! I fixed my WE M16A3's stock wobble problem. Literally, just unscrew the top screw in the buttplate, and slide the stock back a bit. Then tighten the buffer tube, which was loose, by screwing it back in. Put the stock back on, making sure not to kink the tiny spring sticking out at the bottom, on the right hand side, from the body (this is for the captive takedown pin). Done Apart from wobbly handguards, and a slightly leaky mag, this thing is good to go. I think when WE are mass-producing these, they just can't be bothered to properly tighten and check

The valve on the bottom of my mag was only finger tight... I tightened it up, and it drastically reduced the leak. I now have to hold the fill-valve up to my ear, and sometimes you can hear a faint 'burbling' sound. I figure if I get some silicone oil, and douse both valves in it, it might go away for good? Ben.

So will it always leak now? Or can I completely cure it with silicone oil? Ben.

The thing is, I charged them quite a bit yesterday, and they were fine... Why after 8 hours did they start leaking? Lol oh well, I'll keep using them, and see if it clears up? Ben.

It was leaking really bad this morning. I've managed to get it down to a small whine from the bottom fill vavle by repeatedly charging the gas and then dry firing the gun. Maybe it'll get better if I just leave it with a tiny bit of gas in it? Ben.

What do you reckon is the best thing to lube the seals with, then? If that doesn't work, has anyone replaced the seals, and what size o-rings did you use? Ben.

Ok, well I've got my M16 right here. What should the Co2 parts look like, and where would they be? Ben. EDIT:: Ok, I don't believe this. So, I've been happily toying around with the gun all day yesterday. I go to bed. I wake up. The magazine leaks like a sieve. It won't hold charge at all. Not only that, the bolt catch/dry fire mode switch suddenly doesn't work. What the heck happened in the 8 hours I slept!? I thought the only difference between the M16A3 and the M16A3 Co2 version was that the latter comes with a Co2 mag? AFAIK, they are both Co2 ready, correct? Ben.

I've fallen in love with it - What a gorgeous gun to shoot! I'll get around to that. I don't really want a suppressor, after all Here is some more, slightly better, pr0nz0rz. The stock isn't a major thing, but I'll definitely be attempting some sort of shim. I'll let you know how it goes. Ben.

Hmmm, maybe some tape would fix the play, though? Other than the wobbly stock, and the flash-hider magically unscrewing itself (due to the sexy recoil ), I'm a very happy boy Ben. EDIT:: Ok, I'll give that a go tonight, when I can finally stop shooting it hehehe
