Meh, been using my TM M9 Samurai Edge Standard for years with great success - it has a fixed HOP, and with 0.25g beebs it will easily reach about 30 metres... How far are you planning to shoot with it?! Ben.

I'm going on what the Open Bolt stuff so far has cost - not a fat lot, compared to the apparent performance gain! Ben.

I've been waiting... Since the Open Bolt system was first introduced! brimm2000: If you can get a good deal on a SCAR, get it. It works great stock as it is... We're just waiting for the Open Bolt kit to make it even MORE awesome. Plus, it's not going to cost a lot to convert the SCAR to Open Bolt. You'll have to buy the kit, and then enough sets of magazine parts for however many magazines you have. Ben.

Does it have the RA Tech NPAS installed? I found on mine, with the NPAS, the bolt can sometimes bind, because the NPAS O-ring is a very tight fit in the chamber. It works fine - you just need to keep applying silicone. When I skirmish it, I give it a big spray of silicone in the morning before the game starts, and then again at lunchtime. Ben.

They're all fancy rats You may find he outgrows his skunk stripe as he gets older, and just leaves the lovely hood - but you can never really tell 100%! They make such amazing pets - the g/f is addicted to them Gz on the ratty though. Ben.

I bet they're having problems working out the magazines. Still, when it does come out, I'll be a happy bunny. It was announced before the M14, so they must be working hard on it (or have shelved it - who knows?). Ben.

They announced it ages ago, along with production pictures. Haven't heard anything since. My WE SCAR will hold me over 'til then, but just wondered what you all thought about the G39C. Ben.

So what do we think overall then? The magazines seem of a better design than the M4-style 30 rounders - I'm especially interested in the reports of just how many mags you can get from one fill! Shame about the trades, but there are always solutions. I'm pretty sure I won't be buying this, as I'm holding out for the WE MP5, but it's always interesting when a new system comes out. Also, who knows when the MP5 will be out? I need my H&K fill, and might have to pick one of these up in the interim Ben.
