  1. It will decrease your gas efficiency, increase cool down & crush softer ammo. Pointless unless you're rocking CO2. AP.
  2. These have just popped up:- http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?item=CR-VF22-0007 If they work as well as the look like they will then these will be worth their weight in gold! It looks as though the mag cannot seat higher than required so you shouldin theory be able to slap a fresh mag in hard with the bolt carrier forward without damaging your nozzle! AP.
  3. I've covered that buddy... It's fine. I have a polished steel bolt on the MP5A2 that works fine, the sliwer cycle time helps the rounds load I've noticed but the gun isn't very happy in bursts over 3 rounds. AP.
  4. I've just acquired a real, German H&K MP5 solid stock and it doesn't fit the VFC at all, It's going to need major work to fit. For the others here whom have fitted the real thing, can you look at your buttpad and tell me what your markings say? AP.
  5. That's right. The top of the bolt is shorter atbthe front by about an inch which means when you rack the cocking lever the bolt travels back an inch shorter distance. It still loads and functions exactly the same and the unit as a whole is much better. AP.
  6. Drops in, VFC pins, zero wobble. Be warned, like most things in real steel, the stock looks nasty!! I was shocked how cheap it looks but it came direct from H&K so it's legit! AP.
  7. My only greavance is with the mags and the feed lips. I think I'm going to sacrifice a magazine to the dremel gods and see what I can do. AP.
  8. Brilliant. Bolt has wider side sections at front and rear. Comes with a copper guide on one side as standard. Loading nozzle is way tougher. Bolt head is simpler but wider. Power is below 330 on green. Accuracy and hop are the same but it's not meant to be a ranged weapon. AP.
  9. I'll add to that, the MP5k bolt assembly will work in the MP5 A2 series but not the other way round. AP.
  10. MP5K with real H&K stock & real 30 round magazine. The bolt assembly is actually about an inch shorter than the regular version & you cannot use azimuth bolt guides (but with the VFC MP5 K you don't need them. I have tried numerous times to make the FE aluminum loading nozzle work but in all four of my VFC MP5's its just plain shocking, really awful. The blowback is just sloppy with it installed & even on red gas it's just farty. I have tried different set ups internally & extrernally but it's just total junk. Ready fighter seems to be the the best so fa
  11. Like I'd use something so rare! Lol. AP.
  12. I'll put a picture or two of my MP5K with folding stock tomorrow shall I? I'm going all out & doing an HK94 next! (chopped to match the 80's movies) AP.
  13. Real steel parts now installed:- Trigger housing (lower receiver) Selector switch Maglite torch grip!! Stock Sights Magazine (for show only) YUM! AP.
  14. Make the mag warm and try. Even on hfc144 gas if the mag is direct from a warm place it won't fire for the first few shots. Also, you'll notice that the hammer hitting forward just feels limp. AP.
  15. Don't quote me on this, but all the MP5's that I have encountered that were not designated the "Asia edition" all seemed to light strike on anything other than 134a or what the Americans dub as duster gas on a warm day or warm full mag. Could this mean that it is for use in lower power countries (Japan)? Seems logical. AP.
  16. I found that after a few rounds & the gas pressure drops the valves open fine but I concur, they do seem to light strike on warmer days & armer mags - I use the 120% hammer springs & hey presto. UPDATE! Last Sunday I used one of my mags that still have an extended follower in it & my normal skirmish bolt assembly that has done thousands of rounds without issue on non-extended follower mags took only one hit against it & it dented one side of the Azimuth nozzle so badly that it jumped the follower, bent upwards and dented the roof of the hop unit tearing the rubber
  17. That's why the ksc/kwa M11 is so flawed and the mags start spitting out ammo. Mag in with bolt forward and mag follower clashing with loading nozzle. It's user preference, when all of the issues with gun are down to the loading nozzle (in a round about way) the best advice is to minimise the wear on the part. AP.
  18. VFC will be releasing a PDW kit for the MP5K but no confirmed date yet. I have a real PDW stock on it's way right now, we'll see how that goes. I'll put some of my info on here in copy paste form so that people can get better feeling for the gun. Because I posted a lot of this info a while ago & some more recently some tiny things are double mentioned - ignore that. Any question or things I've missed, post them here, I will endeavour to answer. AP.
  19. I order from various HK retailers, normally pistols at least once a month, only ever has minimal problems, leaky mags etc - 2% of my total HK orders I guess?? I like ordering from HK, the range is far better & the cost is even more decent the more you order at a time. AP.
  20. At the moment it's 63 pistols - was 64 but just sold one. AP.
  21. If it is (supposedly) a WE or at least from the same factory in parts, does it go full auto when it feels like it & vent gas horribly?
  22. The finish on the MEU is like blak glitter paint, the Kimber is ace!
