  1. lovely python! you really should get a real wood grip for it though, if anything lets it down it's the grip.
  2. tip, dont dremel the mags, dremel the mag catch. the mag catch is slightly too long to accept all brands of mags, file a bit off and it'll work.
  3. saw this on red alliance, nice review but doesnt it belong in the readers reviews section as opposed to the section for BDUs, chest rigs and the like?
  4. nope, they dont. RSOV have been known to sell spare parts on request, why not drop them an email?
  5. lift up the lever on the side of the sight block, lift off the upper handguard, flip the little lever on the lower handguard retainer and you're done. same as the real steel.
  6. best speak to USCMcorps (i think) he modded a real one to fit a cyma.
  7. they do indeed. http://www.dynamicstar.com.tw/product_show...amp;search_str=
  8. ah, but plastering your weapon with decadent imperialist gadgets while others fight with the bare essentials is far from equality on a more serious/relevant note, i personally lean towards aestheitcs. i play airsoft for the fun and realism aspects, i'm not too concerned about having every possible advantage to make me better than everyone else. i'd rather have a nicer looking gun and slower target aquisition than a more practical gun that i dont like the look/feel of. still, each to his own.
  9. not that i'm condoning this AK rapeage, but surely one of those doctor sights or an aimpoint T1 microdot would sit low enough to co-witness with the sights? plus they wouldnt make the gun look as stupidly front heavy as most of these 'PMC' AKs
  10. i quite like the asymentical look. if i were to have a design on the other side too i'd have a slightly different one, although in the same kinda style. i wonder how it would look if you used a large round file to contour and shape the HG to fit your hand, like adding finger grooves.
  11. stupid video. the fella firing the AK is seriously jerking the trigger, no wonder he's not hitting anything. as for the bit at the end about the AK being designed as a machine gun, thats ######s. like just about any assault rifle the AK is meant to be mainly used on semi, the idea of the AK selector is to swing the lever down until it stops, which is semi auto. that way you dont have to watch what you're doing or feel where the selector is positioned when disengaging the safety, you just swing it down to the bottom where it wont go further. you'd think they'dput some research in before bro
  12. rckon you'll do a similar design on the handguards. might look cool if done well.
  13. loving that design. looks really authentic, some kinda spiritualist rebel AK or summut. it's a nice subtle design not like the tacky, overdone skulls and stuff you usually see in the airsoft world edit: ooh, moar pics please snigel
  14. i beileve nineball make one of those fugly scope rail things that has a lower rail. failing that why not just bolt a G36 handguard rail onto the underside of the frame?
  15. http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/ecshop/goods.php?id=4128 M500, metal kitted too. i havent bothered checking the rest of the revolvers section but i recall them having the SAA too. SAA: http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/ecshop/goods.php?id=3386
  16. neither do lots of things. personally i interpret it as slang for 'i cant be bothered to get off my *albatross*'
  17. judging by the capacity they will be. personally i cant stand the G&P design. i'm cosidering buying a load of CA 70 rounders to re-do my current mags.
  18. i know, i own 5 worth it if you can afford it IMO. where the hell did you find mags that cheap? surely not bakelite or plum AK74 mags for that price. maybe romainian 7.62 or summut. @billy bob: tascabe on red alliance sells the 4 cell chicoms jebus, forgot to mention how purdy your tabuk is. i reckon it'd look great with a bit of wear.
  19. what brand is that dan wesson majiggy? is it that win-gun one?
  20. marushin. very nice looking piece too. if only a taiwanese company would clone them in 6mm and metal.
  21. sorry, but they really dont. they dont feel as 'real' as the likes of a G&P, which is in turn feel no where near as good a real mag. however as said before, unless you can afford to convert RS shells (might be worth looking into CA 70 rounders for the internals, G&P/VFC etc are junk) MAG are certainly the way to go. i'm not slagging them off at all, but saying they feel real is simply not true (as with any airsoft AK mag i've used).
  22. while i'm a big fan of MAG mags i disagree here. they feel a LOT lighter and more hollow than my RS converted bakelite and plum mags. that said they are generally my first choice of mags. they're sturdy, cheap and more reliable than the like of G&P midcaps.
  23. AWESOME! they have their own bag now? hehe, they were always first to run out in a bag of tangfastics.
  24. after handling my friend's DM AK74 and handling a RMW (same as LTC) AKMS... it is very much worth it. the 2009 edition LTC is only $400, and thats a full AEG, not just a kit. the '09 models are better built as they are half pinned, plus the LTCs overall have a MUCH nicer fit and finish on all the parts. my friend's DM's finish was really quite nasty and mismatched, the steel was worryingly soft and cheap and several parts required a fair bit of dremeling just to fit. they also seemed to use LESS grub screws than old design LTC/RMW/inok/guarder, and no it's not got pins instead it's just
