  1. old piccie, but still. this is murphy, my new (ish) english bull terrier puppy, this was taken at 12 weeks IIRC, he's grown a bit since then and his ears have come up sadly it seems all the photos of my last dog (RIP danny) got lost in a HDD swap
  2. agreed, have a (slightly chopped by the look of it) full handguard with the retainer up against the gas block. that would look MEAN.
  3. how does it stack up against madbull's offering? i've been airsofting waaaay too long when the first thing that word brings to mind is FPS edit: and yes, i do know the meaning of chronograph in the watch sense too.
  4. i've got it on my to-do list and i cant see why not. providing the wires are well protected and kept out of the way of the bolt it should be OK. also if my measurements are correct one of these should entirely fit in the gas tube and upper handguard, so you can change batteries by field stripping the handguard.
  5. woah, nice. now make a mosin nagant
  6. yes, but honestly, the VFC style blowback is so pointless it's not worth the hassle. it wouldnt be so bad if it came with it, but its certainly not worth the hassle. for a more rewarding shooting experience you'd be better off nicking the cyma gearbox with the cloned TM recoil mech, then wiring it to take a small LiPo stick in the handguard/gas tube. at least then it would be a. decent blowback and b. blowback that wont screw with reliability much (i havent really heard any failure reports)
  7. a good quality 1400mAh 9.6V stick calast all day at a push, but i prefer to swap batteries half way through the day anyway.
  8. aye, but not the reciever. RS recievers are, as i'm sure you know, shorter than airsoft recievers. this is why real sword had to re-design the V3 to have a real spec reciever.
  9. LCT make an M70AB2 reciever : http://www.dynamicstar.com.tw/product_show...amp;search_str= if you wanted a full stock then an RPK reciever should suffice: http://www.dynamicstar.com.tw/product_show...amp;search_str= as for RS modding, if you're british it would be very illegal... impossible anyway, at least with a standard V3 gearbox. might be possible with a realsword box, but a bit pointless as there are suitable recievers already out there. oh, btw, remember that those are proprietary recievers and will only work with other LCT parts. if you wanted to stick with a TM based co
  10. considering it's not the correct AKM wood PG , i'd say stick with ABS for now and later mod a RS AKM wood grip to fit. it's been done (by yakarov on RA IIRC)
  11. they use the G&P design, so will jam and misfeed a lot. if you remove the internal bit and put a load of BBs behind the spring to reduce the cap to about 70-100 rounds they should work better. OK, so it's fewer rounds, but at least they'll actually feed
  12. i seem to remember hearing they were scrapped in favour of the AN94, bloody stupid move IMO. still, i've probably got that wrong, it's late and i've had a hard day
  13. the stock painting looks good, but i'm not at all sure about the wear job. there's a lot of wear around the reciever dimple... which isnt even a protruding part, while most of the edges, reciever cover ribs etc seem nigh untouched.
  14. whoops! i read his reply wrong, thought he was talking about the SVD being an NDM 86
  15. they're pretty much identical, even down to markings. the only differences are that the rear sight is filled in orange paint (still has the russian 'n' character though) and it has an indent on both sides at the back of the reciever cover (the russian only has it on the left IIRC)
  16. aye, i (badly) scalloped and vented the upper on mine. looks a bit better from a distance but still not even close.
  17. VFC right? you'd do better buying real wood the VFC's wood is completely the wrong shape. i love my VFC, but the wood really lets it down the best looking option would to buy a RS set from tantal or something.
  18. stolen from the badger quite some time ago prior to that it was the communist party
  19. interesting. i wonder how it'd look with the aimpoint on the lower rail section. i think black furniture would suit that *awaits angry mob of purists*
  20. the ACM M500s are the BE M500s and yes angel wings, they are full metal.
  21. its the old inokatsu kit. long discontinued sadly. it's a beautiful gun, IMO probably the only AK47 worth owning as it's the only one that comes close to looking like the Real steel.
  22. the PP19-01 does actually exist, thats just a very vague interpretation of it. shame you dont plan on going the whole hog with it, could have given renegadecow's effort some competition.
  23. no such thing. the only way would be to buy a whole cyma AK74M (old TM construction), in which case you may as well stick with the cyma '74M, and in which case you'd do better to either buy a newer style cyma 74M or wait for the Dboys full steel (or get the full steel AKS74 and some AK74M furniture) regarding the G&G Vs VFC AIMS. the VFC uses a more solid construction method and has more realistic as well as VFC's excellent quick takedown system. both are finished unrealistically, but the G&G's blued finish (IMO) is much nicer to look at than VFC's newer matte paint. which ev
  24. not really. usually it's them leeching your bank account consider yourself a lucky man.
  25. looks fantastic! only thing i'd do would be to fill in that gap above the front of the launcher and add a flip up ladder sight (for looks if nothing else)
