Woahh that gt2 is HOT, just saw a white gt2 today too

Sickkk! The flash reflection on his goggles though is very distracting, would be better if you had am umbrella flash further away.

So I have been doing alot of automotive photography at races and stuff, and while walking around I always would take pics of cars when there just sitting there...But for the first time I got to do an actual shoot and set up lighting (only have 1 sb600 ). Please critique! Thanks , Chris Juliano

Computer crashed and lost ALL my pics But here are new pics I recently took!

Macro of my eye, it was tricky though because my D40 does not AF with my sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro lens....So aiming the camera at myself and guessing if its focused perfectly took about 400 shots. But I think it was well worth it. I did edit this in photoshop slightly, made the contrast a little higher, and made everything other then the eye b&w.

Here is the video from the event I wanted to get lots of the people in the videos so the club would put it up on there website I should of prob took more then 30 mins to edit it though ha. Its just so hard to edit videos on my comp since these HQ 1080p require such a demanding computer. This was 1.4g of file

I also got to go to a great area on the north track to take pics! I have switched to shooting RAW. But I hear if the white balance is completely off, and you adjust in RAW by alot, the noise level will be quite high. So I just want to learn WB completely

I NEVER had a problem with white balance untill those stingray pictures, so I am trying to learn WB. Seems very challenging to get use to, but I think learning it will benefit me greatly

Ic what you mean Most professional automotive shots (besides straight up front and back shots) are almost 90% angled, and I am a huge fan of how they bring out the angles/curves in a car more, thats just why I use them so much

These are just my favorite pics, I have lots more around the car on my flickr. But flat images are very boring, using angles show off certain curves and give it a different look, mainly an "agressive" look which I like.

Why thank you I had alot of people say they didnt like the angles. What do you guys think about the angles?

Hahah yeah I am glad it came back in good working condition! It would of been a real bummer if there was internal mechanical issues. Do you have a flickr or website with your magpul training pics?
