Looks like an older cyma gearbox to me.

I know it's for the aep. I believe that's why I haven't been able to find much information on it.

Is that true to airsoft as well? I believe he's talking about airsoft and not real steel parts.

If you're just using it in your HERA, I see no reason to upgrade to a metal slide. The plastic is better on gas efficiency and I haven't seen any TM slides break from regular use.
