  2. So I could sleep better at night, I'll assume you meant your beard. And here's another shot.
  3. Has spring Serbu. Just finished gas Serbu. Now wants to make shell ejecting Serbu. This hobby blows.

  4. Serbu Super Shorty, done and done. *Before anyone complains, yes, I am aware Tubbs never used a Serbu being 20 years from the future. He used an Ithaca Stakeout.

If only those were Surefire quad stack mags.
  6. Can't really recall the number of rounds used, but definitely a lot cycled through from just monkeying around. I'd say maybe a good 1000-1500 times now and the only part that's broken is the disconnector. Not really sure how it broke exactly with it being a low stress part. From what I recall, the pump handle suddenly got stuck so I pulled it back forcefully which broke the disconnector. Couldn't replicate it now for the life of me so I'm assuming something foreign found it's way in which I do often anyways like chucking batteries, shotgun shells and figurines out the lifter. As for the bolt a
  7. Come on WE, where's that P90? If I don't get one soon I'll spend my money on something stupid again.

Build factory and crank out SKS then?

After generating more funds, take over WE.

  8. Good old paper and pencil works for me. It's just that they'd rather have CAD themselves which they have to modify into the production model, as you say easier for them to make.
  9. Hopefully yes. I'm currently waiting for legal paperwork plus the first payment with which I'll need to hire somebody to translate the design to CAD.
  10. ^ Yup, and that's the same store where I got mine. Mines for a revolver though, but they share the same quality and materials.
  11. I have a PPK/S but it's metallic green and shoots less than 70fps (Marui though). I should have had the new Marushin M36 6mm since February, but my local supplier has been really slow of late. I'm tempted to risk it and just have it EMSed from WGC. Uncle Mike's IWB holsters are excellent. Don't be put off by how cheap they are, they work great.
  12. S&W .500 8/38" on my left shoulder, FN 5-7 on my right hip, and a 2.5" Python IWB up front. Also, that Escort, it's a non-firing replica.
  13. Astra?!? You wish! We'll never see the day a decent .25acp replica is made. I'm really tempted in getting one of those Mr. Bickle mark III rigs though, if only they didn't cost 20,000 yen. http://www.macleod.jp/travis-ya/gun.htm
  14. I'm the one doing a Travis Bickle impression. Don't know why but I seem to be the only one getting a kick out of CCW applications in airsoft. A prize to who can guess if and what I'm packing.
  15. Speaking of little friends, why didn't I put my Lake in here?
  16. I never knew spiced wine tasted so good during the rainy season.

Actually, well, the Shield is only available in 9 and 40 for now.

      FireKnife

I bet you could jam a .45 in there, if you can get a Kimber with a 3" barrel surely you could put one in a M&P Shield

  19. Redwolf has Mateba shells in stock, though I never bought spare shells myself. I find the rubber packing that holds the bb too loose and could dislodge a loaded bb just from jumping up and down while the gun is holstered. Instead I've made my own shells from .40S&W PMC brass and plastic tubing: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/170451-cheap-marushin-handgun-shells/ edit: It would be worth knowing that the Mateba is the only revolver left in Marushins catalog that hasn't been re-released in the X-Cartridge line. Might be worth waiting to see if they do make an X-C
  20. Came across some poor sod who thinks it's "*fruitcage* retarded" to wear military uniform and equipment (calls it fancy dress) while playing airsoft. But jeans and t-shirt isn't. Also, he's in the UK.

Im going for king arms or VFC or G&P

    2. aznriptide859

      aznriptide859

I'd be OK with G&P, King Arms not so much. VFC would be a dream come true...but hopefully not ARES (RC you're smart enough to not go ARES XD).

In any case congrats! I definitely would want one.

      @crackisbad

The annoying part was it wasn't even through Arnies or any airsoft forum that they took notice of my work. It was at TheReplicaPropForum.

  22. "I know Soft Air = Airsoft. But what if we could classify Airsoft and SoftAir as different?" - Why do I even bother going to other forums?!?

Wait, the ball really does strike you anywhere else in the world. it should be the other way around.

    2. adadqgg

      adadqgg

      No no we play Strikeball.

We strike ball; that makes very little sense.

In Russia Ball strike you, which makes sense.

    3. ollie_ty

      ollie_ty

Yeah but they wanted it to be Strikeball, as one word. Which would make sense in the example you just gave.

  23. I'm afraid no amount of googlefu will turn up any information about it so I can only draw from my observations. It weighs 1,100g and mostly made of heavyweight ABS. HW ABS is just your typical ABS with metal powder mixed in. The stuff WA uses looks to be ferric because there's a reddish tinge hinting of rust which lends a lot to its looks. The metal parts (trigger, hammer, controls) are zinc diecast and are chemically colored, not painted so eventual wear will fade instead of chip, again making it look great with age. One of the problems was a very leaky mag and one of the things I had to do t
  24. Western Arms M9 NBB: so old I couldn't even Google it. Hell, I didn't even know it existed before it was handed over to me for repairs. But it just shows WA knew how to do it right from the start. I mean most replicas will look realistic, but this thing just looks real, period.
