  1. The part of the nozzle that pushes bbs into the chamber comes into contact with the lip and follower of the magazine. Check to see if there's damage on your magazine lip that could be adding friction to the return. Also check out your outer barrel and hop chamber if they're getting mangled up as well.
  2. That's part #62, rather an enhanced replacement of it. Look at part #66, the valve knocker disconnector. I suspect the broken off part is the small tab that part #66 has which engages against the hammer. It's the smaller of the two protruding tabs. http://www.airsoftoutletnw.com/index.php/Shop-by-Airsoft-Rifle-Type/M4-Airsoft-Guns/M4-Airsoft-Parts-and-Accessories/WE-M4-Spare-Part-66-Trigger-Pack-Part-A-Cutoff-Linkage.html
  3. Did you try shimming the bolt catch? A lot of users here have done it to great effect using the thinnest AEG shim.
  4. Not quite. She packed a first version, the one with the slimmer dust cover. But nice review none the less! Hey, could you tell if there's a decocker function on this?
  5. Just a heads up: Guarder polycarb slide and frame are now available at UNco, other stores to probably follow. No need to buy direct from Guarder as their sales method seems a bit dodgy. Two new colors available for the frame too: blue and transparent. http://www.uncompany.com/ *under new products edit Apparently EHobby has the new slide and frames too. Found out after purchasing a stainless outer barrel. Shoulda tossed one in the basket to save on shipping if I had known .
  6. If you count custom pieces made, Hannibal has a gas one and I have my AEG. I may have to pull it out of storage when the movie comes out http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=127613&hl=ruger%20ac%20556f&st=0
  7. You have to remove the grip to release tension on the ball-detent plunger that's keeping it in. Then you just pull it out but you may have to push down on the trigger bits if it gets in the way.
  8. I'm a simple guy with simple tastes. I want a Gepard M1. But the chances of anyone making it is close to nill so I might as well take matters to myself.
  9. Silicon oil on your bucking. Try swabbing it dry. If that doesn't work, try a different brand of green gas that has a lower oil content. Personally though, dry propane works best.
  10. A quick look and WGC still has the wood version. Conversely, EHobby only has the plastic version. Can't seem to link from the WGC website though. I have no idea where to get the wood grip alone save from having one made.
  11. Thought about sleeving 6mm in, but I like the looks on people faces when I pull out my bag of 8mims. BTW, I'm the same guy who concocted them converted real shells They'd likely release an X-cartridge version (maybe in 6mm too, who knows), you might be more interested in those. And the only ones left I see available are the wood ones.
  12. I'm just waiting for a Mateba specific tight barrel myself. I've measured up whats available and modifying them is too much work. For one thing I'd need the 8" barrels because it needs some chopping down as the hop window doesn't meet. Then have the front end threaded, which as it is, gets easily damaged having so little wall thickness. Either that or I convert the front barrel nut to attach to the inner barrel by grub screws on the side. Never got about what the hump does exactly. Hammering it straight did increase fps a bit but it could also have been from fixing the kinks which would have u
  13. Great review! Might want to swab the barrel first before testing next time as we all know how some china guns come with globs of grease jammed in every nook. Oh and, how many shots to a mag full of gas?
  14. You know, 8mm's aren't as pricey as they used to be. http://www.rsov.com/index.php?target=produ...product_id=3069 http://www.rsov.com/index.php?target=produ...product_id=3070 edit: they also carry the china 8mm bbs, but from my experience, they're poo. $2.49 a bag though.
  15. If you go some pages back, there's talk about the incompatibility between M4 and SCAR mags in that the SCAR mags have their rubber seal 1mm or so higher than the M4. What happens is you can't seat the SCAR mag in your M4 simply because the rubber part is thicker. Visually check your non-seating mags against the working one. If they're indeed higher, you could just take a sharp knife and file/sandpaper to it and reduce its height. *remove material on the lower part, not the part that makes contact with the brass tube. If it's not that, have a look at the magazine casing. The ledge that
  16. At what position is the bolt in when it does that? Is there plenty of resistance when you pull the bolt back? I'm thinking it's similar to how some CO2 nozzles have their tolerances out of whack and gets stuck in the hop chamber (part #117 on the M4), leaving the bolt stuck and the valve wide open.
  17. Thanks! Yeah, that looks about the same. Crosses fingers for eventual replacement part.
  18. Could you take a pic of the nozzle area, at least the bottom side of the slide assembly? I have a friend with a S7 P226 whose nozzle split (yay tropical weather) and am having difficulty finding a spare one. If this new sig shares the same part, I'd have higher chances of seeing a replacement part.
  19. And potentially lose a hand? The difference between propane and CO2 is a good 650PSI.
  20. I was all "meh" until I hit the Sten MkII Now I see why they seem so slow to release; R&D boys keep making other stuff that aren't particularly marketable. But I'd sell my liver for that M3 grease gun (+M16A1+M14 it's Vietnam all over again ).
  21. I pity the fool that makes WE A1 and A2 jokes Unless... you're not kidding. On a side note, my package from AB just arrived. That was like what, 1 day shipping? Makes me wish I'd added that ambi selector after all. I've only really ordered small packages from them in the past and all came swiftly. If only they were as consistent with larger orders.
  22. If you're going to use CO2 in either of the configurations in the future, best have them both CO2 capable.
  23. Cheaper version, but I don't think anyone buys here anymore: http://www.airsoftbuddy.com/index_eproduct...products_id=558 I just placed a small order of parts. Was tempted to get one too, but if it never arrives...
  24. Any word on price and when it will hit the streets?
