If you take the barrel nut/delta ring apart so you just have the toothed nut the PVC pipe will just about fit over that then you can epoxy it into place once it's all lined up properly.

I dunno, on a Flash M202 maybe. I tried messing with car lock solenoids before and even those large 12V ones didn't have enough power to activate a grenade directly and requires a mechanical advantage (lever) which takes up even more space.
