  1. Lets revive this since there is now an opportunity to get a Repo CF Frag Vest

Trying to spread the word here on a project to get some Repo CF Frag Vests made for the gearwhores out there. RustySniper of Airsoft Canada is trying to get a Repo body armor project rolling for $140 a piece in TW or AR your choice.

    His info thread.

Discussion going on about the project in the old repo armor thread.

  2. I don't use Arnies as much as I once did, but it was my understanding that a user's warn status faded/was removed over time. Mine as of right now is 2 years old. I believed it was an automated system, but if it does require a Moderator to remove a warn status I can see how it would be over looked.

I'm just wondering what I need to do to bring it back down to 0.

  3. I find that the newer G&G RK's are superb weapons with their only weak point being the slender stock tangs, that with enough force applies might tend to break. Of course the weak point is caused by the slenderness of the stock tangs with the body being made of magnesium which is strong and light weight, but a bit brittle. I had my stock tangs break on me, at different times and were accidents on my end, but I fixed the problem and now the gun is solid and is my primary workhorse.

Yes I saw how you fixed yours with CYMA tongs ComradeMP nice job. Ok so the even in the latest version (V3) the problem persists? Good info to know since I've just been saying stay away since previous versions were bad. See you at Pinos Comrade -punk_newbie

  4. yeah the badger. I played with my Rk104 for the first time today and the stock broke off... well the top tang at least. Im apoxying it and selling it dirt cheap now.

Was it one of the new version 3 Rk104's? On some of the boards I post on I'm kinda the AK authority and people seem to only be looking at G&G now (AK wise) because they are cheaper than CA now and come with a metal body. So I'd like some proof that their new versions are just as crummy. Please and thank you. Also, sorry your stock tongs broke :(

  5. Onslaught-

I bought the RK01 a few months ago so i am uncertain if it is indeed full steel.

Where did you buy it from? If it was from anywhere outside of HK then it is the old semi-steel version. If it was from HK then there is a possibility it is full steel, but I'm sure you would have seen that in the title when you were ordering it.

  6. are they always that expensive?

edit, see its like 1/2 the price here

They have that price because they are from HK as opposed to the USA.

Wow evike is really ripping you off for those new RPK-74 mags. Get them from AEX for the same price as the normal box set of MAG AK magazines. $52.50 for 5

  7. That tutorial is on these forums to....

Wonder where I could get pinned mags...... Because living in NJ means I can't own anything over a 10 (?) round capacity...

Comrade lives in CA and we can't have anything over 10 either I believe. Somewhere in his tutorial I'm pretty sure he found a way around it, by cutting the follower spring.

  8. Lol inokatsu ak47 kit is gonna be impossible to find. I could settle for a Real Sword but ive heard horrible things about the FPS being around 160ish

I just really would prefer better than the Marui style of Ak47 externals with the visible screws and such.

I'm assuming you read the review for the RS type-56 on ASR? If you read it carefully you'll realize that the retard fully engages the hop thus causing the huge drop in FPS <_< while it does shoot under 300 fps its very accurate. Look at the review here on arnie's it's much better.

  9. No the AKM has a stamped receiver while an AK-47 has a milled receiver. The difference is that an AK-47 has the indents on the side.

Darn too slow. I try to be helpful and provide pictures and I get beat out :P:lol:

  10. I'm confused by your incoherent sentences and a quote that doesn't even apply to what your trying to apparently trying to say. If " Quantity in Basket: none " is suppose to show they don't have them in stock then you've misunderstood their website.
