  1. Uploaded a quick look at the bolt. Realized I'm more of a mouth breathing rambling autist than I thought, but that's ok. https://youtu.be/sahRdw0DPr0
  2. At least it gets rid of those weak points. no need for upgraded striker, spring guide, or piston head. Just slap on a metal body, improve the hopup, and keep it lubed. Hopefully the metal body is still compatible.
  3. a couple pics It does look like there is something that's supposed to seat into the side of the bolt carrier here, but i cant find an explosion diagram to confirm. that's the buffer, the spring is very strong i'm going to try making a takedown video tomorrow.
  4. So, this is a first impression of a 2nd hand Umarex branded KWC Mini Uzi. Kinda bid on one on eBay and ended up winning, so I got it, working and in actually good condition, for a cool hundo. So, I had bookmarked the aftermarket parts, but I won't need them (except for the metal body) since this is another revision and the bolt is different again. This one uses a single recoil spring and a metal buffer pin. The whole rear of the receiver is metal (where the stock mounts to the receiver, not sure if it's metal on other models). The recoil spring and guide rod are captive and set into th
  5. i could have posted this guy back then, but didnt see this before. I have a Ka-bar from the same series; didnt realize this one was blurry, my bad^
  6. Acquired a couple knives in the last couple months. Got a auto modified Buck 110 and a Boker Mini Kwaiken.
  7. I believe the original Taino Koba and subsequent KJW USPs were a 9mm varient.
  8. I've got some wear showing up on mine that I don't know yet how I'm going to deal with. The forcing cone is starting to become deformed from the cylinder hitting it and the latching points on the cylinder (for the bolt) are starting to mushroom out. Really, it's only seen one game, but a lot of fondling also. Forgot to get a pic of the slight mushroom on the bolt indexing notches, but I got one of the forcing cone. https://goo.gl/photos/uuC9jaaGAhfDZevRA
  9. Idk, the standard plastic tipped ones work just fine. I've got like 4 sets of shells, 3 new one old, and they all work.
  10. Technically they are, but it would require ASG to release the other barrels as spare parts. I really like the 4 inch model. I'm going to email ASG to see if they'd consider selling me the parts.
  11. I will bet one WHOLE DOLLAR that that's what he was going for.
  12. What is up this Wednesday my dudes? I finished putting my sellout carbine together with an Elite Force 4CRL as the base powered by the new Generation 2 Wolverine Inferno Spartan edition complemented by the 12g CO2 powerlet adapting Wraith stock. The Elite Force 4CRL is a rebranded VFC carbine. Normally an AEG M4 with a 14" M4 barrel, SPR muzzle break, unique 7" free float RIS, folding front sight, and standard A2 grip and full stock. Sort of meant and to be a shorter SPR. I bought the 4CRL off of Evike's boneyard. I was informed that many EF 4CRLs suffered broken stocks when shipped to um
  13. Yeah man, I'm just wondering how you mounted the soft tips into the RS shells.
  14. I'm now sold on buying one of those. thanks dude, looks beautiful.
  15. No, I bought the regular shells. The low power shells still work in the gun, it's just that you'll shoot about 150fps with them in the already placed down version of the gun. The outside shape is the same, its just a plug in the shell that limits the flow of gas through it.
  16. very nice. have a guide you can post? i bought 12 extra shells for my 715, but i found that the build quality on them arent that great. there are tooling marks on the rims that interfere with the WG jet loaders and makes it hard to actually fit the shells into the cylinder. i had to mark them in sets and make sure to put the correct shells into the correct jet loaders in a specific way so that loading goes properly.
  17. I had heard VFC made improvements very soon after release. They seem to be the best option for the mp7 on the market right now if you really care about 1:1 specs. But I would still choose it over the marui.
  18. Yoooooo!!! Bout time someone made these available. Gotta buy one soon before the prices go back up.
  19. It's brass, so it's not going to corrode. I would just polish it up whenever I needed to take it somewhere.
  20. I wonder how the hopup arm in these vectors hold their shape when the lm4s have a hard time not turning flat every few thousand rounds.
  21. I can't find it anywhere outside the EU yet.
  22. Wait, is that price for the clone spas equal to 44usd?
  23. Well, that's not good. The main thing I wanted to do was stuff in a volante BBU. Is at least that possible? Or will I need to pick up a certain spec slide? All in all though, I'm willing to do the work to make the parts fit. If the WE frame is too big for a TM spec slide fitment, I'll get some lapping compound and make it right.
  24. Quick question for the lazy, Are guarder steel parts like the frame and hammer housing for the KJW G23 compatible with the WE G19? I traded recently for a gen 4 WE and would like to know. I also need a new slide for it (due to the previous owners *suitcasey* paint job) and if the internal steel parts are compatible, should I also get a steel slide or will an alu slide last just fine? Worried about corrosion mostly.
