  1. Say all you want about the bang rule, but I play it this way for 9-10 years now, and I don't hear the enemy players whine about it.

I don't see the point of shooting somebody that close, when they haven't their weapon aimed at me.

Airsoft is a day of fun for me, with mutual respect. Not to hurt everybody, even when they turned their back at me.

  2. Blarock, does that 3m resi help reduce fogging much?

If you have a good seal, you don't have any fog-problem. (no breath can go up to the glasses)( we removed all filters and intake/exhaust restriction flaps)

We use it as mouth-protection, and it does a very good job at it.

Only disadvantage is that it gets soaking wet inside from your breath after a day's skirm :P

  3. I've got the TMC Airframe and a set of Sordins on the way, how did you go about rail mounting the headset?  Only seems to be peltor mounts around, though I think I saw some sordin compatible ACM versions on ebay.

On ebairsoft, you can find the ARC-mounts for Peltor headsets.

    http://www.ebairsoft.com/z3ad-peltor-headset-tb397-p-5732.html

My Peltor is a dualcomm, and came standard with a camo-headband, not the leather one. So I didn't have to cut my headband open.

You just have to prie open the metal loops from the original headband, and connect it to the arc-rails. (it's easy done with a multi-grip http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tongue-and-groove_pliers

    )

Just be carefull not to damage the wires.

The only downside is that you can't quickly change between the arc-rails and the headband like comtac's.

And yes, it's possible you have to bend the mounts a little, so they fit good in height, and they 'click' properly in place.

  4. Very nice, what's the blade on the off side? Strider?

    It's a replica of a Benchmade Knife.

TMC BC style 141 Plastic Dummy knife (wrapped the handle with para-cord. It was way too thin and slippery for my big hands)

    That helmet is awesome.

    Well played Sir. Well played.

Thx. Helmet is the Airframe clone with CP MC-cover and CP arc-rails

  5. And of course, my pic needs to be in here also.  Keep the MC alive!

  7. Blarock,, awesome setup! Real crye I assume!? Was there any wait for it from Crye or was it picked up else where/2nd hand?

    Yup, Real Crye CPC (M/M)

I ordered if from leafgear.nl, retailer from Crye in the Netherlands. It wasn't in stock, but I only had to wait 1-1,5 months.

And it's very comfy, Love it.

(I made a small calculation, and for the moment, I have about 2800€ on Crye gear lying around. :S )

And to join the mag-discussion:  I play with about 5-7 mid/lowcaps, and always play single or burst.
