Thanks for the link. My bipod works great folded up but I prefer to keep it deployed, I spend a lot of time proned out with the SAW as I want to keep as true to a support gunner as possible. If I want to run and gun I will just break out the PTW.

His bipod folds back not forward in that configuration. Corps-what is the flash hider you are rocking on your SAW?

Thanks for the compliments, it's the real steel bipod so it wasnt cheap. $210 from Bravo Company USA. I have tried a few different bipods and this it THE one to go with.

Well, I tried the grippod but really didn't care for it. The grippod is built like a tank but I wanted something with some cant and swivel so I finally bit the bullet and picked up a Tango Down advanced combat bipod. Immediately I found I needed to modify the 249 to get it to be 100 functional so I removed the pintle as well as the little bar that is parallel with the pintle mount. I messed around with the placement of the bipod and found it worked best when in reversed it which allowed me to deploy the bipod much faster and keep my height adjustment. It's been awhile since I have pimped my PTW here so here is how it sits now with the exception of the Tango Down grip being replaced with a Larue Fug. Below the PTW is my real steel for comparison.
